Never understood skepticism here, guy was a beast when I watched him playing for France. He fitted perfecly and in short time. Hope he stays here more than one season.

I'm still sceptical about him being a consistent goalscorer. As long as we keep winning, that won't be a problem.

He isn't the goalscorer we normally accept but his work rate and insane assist tally keeps him of the radar for criticism in this area.

Yup. And Thuram is not a Firmino. In ideal world, both would be at Inter today and Arnautović wouldn't have to be.

Not same type of player i agree... but just like firmino thuram has contributed lots to our attack even if he s not scoring in bunches....

I have 0 problems if thuram just keeps his curremt performances up....
Scoring more/ becoming more clinical would be the cherry on top

I agree that Thuram does a lot for our attack, especially the flexibility. Never gonna dispute that. The difference with Firmino is that he has proven that he can win games (and titles) while being a low scorer himself. He sacrificed himself for the team. Just at Hoffenheim, he was a standout player.

I just don't want to get into too much hype about Thuram for now. As a player we got for 'free', he is really good. If he and Lautaro have good games against Juve and Napoli, I'll probably warm up to him more.

What is a good indicator is that this actually looks like Thuram's best season so far.

So huge blessing in disguise. If you think he would be cool with Sanchez minutes (who already talking about Mexico for playing time) yea think we dodged 1 bullet

As somebody who watched Firmino when he was in Germany, I totally disagree. If anything, he is underrated

Tikus is a special player, despite not being involved that much, he still does incredible things to prove his quality.

I'd want him to take more responsibility though.

Once him and Lautaro improve on their chemistry, we are gonna be unstoppable. But hopefully he's not getting sold before that happens.

I thought their chemistry needs to improve a lot. We are lucky that both of them are incredibly good technically and have a good vision, therefore we have seen individual brilliances in most of cases. I'm not saying there is no chemistry at all, but it's obvious that their partnership isn't clicking yet. At least not as good as they are supposed to.

Yes, he's been VERY decisive since the start of the season. Of course there are numbers of goals and assists, but he won many penalties and made so many differences. Definition of valuable.
