No they didn't. He never went to court. The prosecution dropped the charges because witnesses decided not to testify.

Inter cannot ever have players like Greenwood. The tape is very clear. Absurd even suggesting him.

As for icardi. His Instagram clearly shows he is Wanda and Wanda is him...
In the UK, the crown prosecution dont need the backing of the witness to go with a prosecution, if the other evidence is strong enough - e.g. the video tapes, etc. I dont know why it was dropped, they say "new material came to light", but of course the UK has a very low rate, and success rate, of prosecutions anyway

If Wanda is not his agent anymore, maybe our directors can handle it?

From the old guard, there's only Lautaro and De Vrij left of that Spalletti team if Handanovic and D’Ambrosio is not renewed and Brozovic sold. I don't think those two really mind. Icardi wouldn't be THE guy anymore. Though the relationship with the Curva could be problematic.

I don't know how anyone could be in favor of a guy who refused to train with the club and chose to use a lawyer to negotiate doing his fucking job he was paid very well for but i guess it's just me.

Is this about Icardi, Lukaku or Thuram? I'm a bit lost
Think actually Thuram didn't do any of that, so yeah

Come on. You know who i am referring to. But yeah. We have gone way off topic on this thread and better stick to Thuram.

Well sure, but Icardi did it once at Inter and it was extremely special conditions that are rather undisclosed, and it was not done to enforce a transfer or even a contract extension. The fact that neither side says anything should be a signal that there's some sort of NDA around the case and neither party wants it to get leaked. Biasin pretty much explained what happened, but not the why.

Whereas Lukaku did it both times to come to Inter (went to train with freaking Anderlecht whilst at Manchester United, had a row with his club & agent at Chelsea and used his lawyer to get a loan move to Inter).

So whilst it may seem obvious who you're talking about, there have been worst examples out there even within our ecosystem.

Its very difficult to convict sexual offences to start with. Virtual impossible when the witness won't testify or could possibly testify for the defence.
Sadly the system is very broken when it comes to these crimes.

He is one of the options in my book because of his availibility, cost, quality and age. Wanda and his thing with Spalletti and the fans is not my concern because 1) I don't care much about a footballer's character as long as they deliver on the pitch and 2) we don't know the full story behind that incident so I'm not gonna go blame it all on Icardi.

And it's not like he's gonna be our problem again. He's only an option for me on a 1 year loan deal and if we don't get Firmino I don't know who else is gonna be available for us to complete our attack line. If you can come up with some names I would like to know who am I missing.

No dispute bud, just trying to put the context of the UK legal system around it.

Thought I was the only one who noticed this.

Only one who noticed what? Thuram is inferior to Lukaku in every single aspect of the game other than maybe close control. It’s well known and doesnt need pointed out.

Shooting power. Maybe he has it but prefers coming close to the goal and just pushing the ball in.
Surely, his first touch isn't worse than Lukaku's. Also, are we signing him as a Lukaku replacement? I thought he is going to fill in Dzeko's spot.

Looks like Thuram may be a better dribbler.

Lukaku's explosiveness looked nonexistent for the majority of last year. It's not smart to just assume it will return for a 31+ player. He's also an increased injury risk now.

Thuram won't be as prolific as Lukaku. I'm hoping Thuram is more of a team player, and is able to create more chances to truly allow Lautaro to be the man. It's the best path forward.

I still think there's a chance Chelsea loans us Lukaku in August, though.
