We do not know if Oriali is coming or not but if he is coming then it`ll be for a reason and that reason would be the only reason as for ET to decide to spend. It is also the same reason Leonardo is being a candidate for a return also for this position which speaks volumes in this case for the intentions of the new owner to spend see what Leonardo has been doing in PSG spending billions to bring super stars to the squad.

Keeping all sentiments aside, Oriali and Branca, and also other people in management or getting there like Cordoba, Zanetti are incompetent in these matters. I don't think any of them have the capability to scout players, cut deals, run the system from a technical point. I would have them as far away as management as possible. We don't want a nepotist system here.

They are great people on the field, and can help with Inter charity foundation etc, but should not have anything to do with Inter on a footballing perspective.

The new technical/sporting director needs to be some new age genius with amazing ideas and modern ways/methods of doing things. We need someone that not only can get dig out good players on bargain deals or close big transfers but someone with a multi-year plan about the squad composition and capability to establish consistent mechanisms to accomplish that.

Which means a complete revoulution in how the club does things when it comes to mercato, scouting, choosing a head coach and ultimately playing football.

I'm also convinced Branca did himself with the Vučinić deal(in Thohir's eyes), forget what is media blabbering. It's not a coincidence that he is the only one getting the can at this time. It's also shows what we've know for a very long time, Branca has been very, very important, second only to Moratti.

Thohir should not rush with picking his replacement, although it wouldn't be a bad thing to get a guy here sooner since next summer will be pretty important.

Yea I'm much more concerned about this piece of shit still at our club. For all of Branca's failures he still deserves respect what he did as a player here, and the good work he did as technical director. Fassone on the other hand, I haven't trusted since day one, and personally, I'm having a very hard time identifying any progress he's made for this club - especially on the stadium front which, I'm under the impression, was one of the major reasons we hired him.
