Exactly. We always value expensive purchased players better than our own home grown kids. Even if they're not really any better..
First mistake of the marceto, yeah. Giving him for free and having an option to purchase at 10M within 2 years or so is better.

What if Imbula turns to be a failure here and Benassi shines for Torino next season? Or we're forced to sell Kova next year?

I dont think we've lost much. He's better thna someone like obi, for example, with good upside potential, but is he really gonna rival kovacic, kondogbia, or imbula? Probably not.

Buying imbula is not necessary since we've got medel and kondo for the starting dm roles. Bringing benassi back would be reasonable to be as an apprentice to them.
