I was on youtube few days ago watching some of Kovacic's matches when he was here. Cant believe some people here believed Kondogbia is on the same level as him. I'd say Kova is a class above, that and I'm still hoping Kondogbia can improve his game for the sake of the team. Kovacic's actually clever on his decision making as opposed to Kondogbia who sometimes have no idea what he is doing. His passing is way better despite making lots of mistakes in his time here, its atleast towards logical destination. Not even defensively he is worse than the Frenchman, the latter might offer more physique but that's it, Kovacic tackles way better.

He'd fit De Boer's system pretty well especially having to play alongside Mario and Banega instead of Guarin and Medel. Unfortunately I dont think he is leaving Real any time soon especially after their transfer ban, but I'd welcome him back in open arms.
