Still 22 and coming off a mediocre hlaf-season adjusting to the league, so his confidence might be lacking. With some time he could learn to pick out the final pass or finish properly.

But the thing that IMO is important is the fact that his shot have actually improved and I can see him scoring lot someday with it. Coutinho had the same problems but his shot was too weak all the time he was Inter and IMHO his shot have not even improved much at Liverpool. Don't post that Countinho's long shot goal because every now and then miracles happen. I was impressed that the ball make it to the goal in air.

He's 22. Don't write off players that young so quickly just because they're not all Messi

That is problem with our scouting, all of our young player shoot like a bitch, cou, kova, botta, even the one who good at youtube shooting nowhere near the goal ricky, guarin. In my book the one which separating from great player and mediocre one is his shooting ability Jovetic should teach our player how shoot properly. Period.

I like Brozovic, great work rate, good movement and sense of positioning and passes reasonably well - the raw material is there. I think can become a very useful midfielder for Inter in the future, even as good as Cambiasso if we develop him right.

I 'd really hope he could develop into stankovic type of player.
But he need to top up his IQ a bit first...

He is not near Kova and his football IQ...or real life IQ for that matter...he could be a decent player for us but not special...maybe close to Deki's level if we get lucky but certainly not Cuchu's level.

I think he has potential to be like Cambiasso (in 6, 7 years from now), but for that he needs to consistently play like 5 years in Serie A IN THE RIGHT ROLE. Raise him into one role, or at most two. Playing him in the same role for most of the time and using him to fill the gaps made by others that are absent is the best way. And if he's not good enough for that role, choose another and play him there for the whole year at least. Loaning him out would help too.

Making him play a DM one match, a AM the other and a RCM the third one will never make him grow. You can field him differently every match when he gets enough experience and consistent playing time.

I dont think hes been tactically fucked with that much....hes been pretty much exclusively deployed at rcm apart from early this season where weve tried him at am, partly due i think to his mediocrity in cm. Dont remember him ever getting moved back to dm, where i think hed suck even more. I have a feeling he might just be a bit shit, but lets hope he proves me wrong.

I don't know why Mancini and now apparently Kovac are playing him as AM. Seems to me like the Kevin Prince Boateng experiment where he played AM at Milan for a while. His footballing sense actually seems fairly cultured as far as I can tell. His passing is fairly articulate and I thought he had a decent shot tbh but I didn't see this recent international match where some of you reported that his shooting was poor. He certainly needs to work harder in defense, and he needs to step up and try harder to make things happen in attack and influence the teams play more. Otherwise, I'm fairly satisfied with Brozovic and I'm willing to be patient with him.
