Mancio Blasts Unjust Italian Football Judiciary System
11/4/2005 5:20:00 PM

Inter boss Roberto Mancini blasted the decision on behalf of the Italian football’s disciplinary commission not punish the Milan and Juve players for the violent gestures they appeared to commit during last weekend’s big match.

“The sports justice in Italy applies two weights and two measures like the ordinary one. But in the sports judiciary system the situation is exaggerated, sometimes it really goes over the limits. But, if they have fun like this, its ok,” Mancio told reporters today.

“But the day we will be able to win it will be even nicer, it will mean we will have done so only with our strength. We might have suffered more, but it will be more beautiful,” he added.

Earlier this season, video evidence was used to suspend Inter defender Walter Samuel for three matches after camera shots revealed a possible spit towards Juve’s Pavel Nedved during the Italian Super Cup final.

...........................................................

I don't know what really happened in the Juve-Milan game, but it's fair enough to say that we are always penalised for all the tiny mistakes, whereas the other two big clubs get to escape all the time. It's damn unfair.

And I didn't mean to point out only about that particular match incident, as I mentioned earlier on; coz I haven't seen that match. {btw, I very very rarely watch other matches not involving Inter} :D

# Handoyo, you are free to move this topid in others threads, if it doesn't belong in this section.

:hopeful:

Yeah I also read it on Goal.com, And its really true. Gobbi & Milan Players were acting like animals in this match, THEY DESERVED A BAN, espacially Mutu & Dida.

“But the day we will be able to win it will be even nicer, it will mean we will have done so only with our strength. We might have suffered more, but it will be more beautiful,” he added.

Truer Words have never been Spoken :proud:

When it comes to Inter, it is illegal to be spitting on the pitch, just like Samuel did in the SuperCoppa Italia. :wallbang: When it comes to Milan, it is perfectly fine to try and hack down players in a retaliation, just like Nesta did to Mutu last week. When it comes to Juve...:finger:

When will you guys understand, Juventus & Milan are judged by different criterion from the rest of Serie A. To many, these criterion can be termed preferential. To the Milan & Juve fan however, it is something they have come to expect. It's nothing new. ;)

Ciao,
Tim

Never, because it is impossible for someone to accept that.

I went to Inter.it looking for the parts where he said that. I read all 4 sections of his latest interview, but found nothing.

Maybe he said it in a different occassion, but I won't be surprised if they omitted it.

Whether you accept that or not, Juventus & Milan receive preferential treatment over every other team in the Serie A. Refusing to accept a situation doesn't change the fact. It is better for one to come to terms with the problem rather than to wish it away.

Besides, if you refuse to accept the status quo, the flipside of the situation is that no other team in Serie A is as capable as Milan & Juventus.

Ciao,
Tim

That is indeed a great quote :star:

And to top it all there are teams who simply do not try as hard against Juve and Milan as they do against Inter. Udinese, a.k.a. Juventus B being the prime example.
