Loser team, nothing more to say.

Mancini must be laughing his ass off, he was never the problem, the lack of quality in this shit team always was.

Why is it so hard to mark your player, don't let them go past you WITH the ball just like that.
It's hard, because the opponent is thinking exactly the same, although in different context. "How to get away from him". Had he been some clueless chicken it would be easy ;)

"Wohoo" I got the result right! Guess being realistic beats "Spirit World" after all...

Tells alot about the class of this squad when we have a 36yo Figo as the primary "creative" substitute in match of this calibre, immensely pathetic really.

I'm proud of the boys. I think we played a very good match. We created many chances but öady luck wasn't on our side today. Two times we hit the ball of the post/bar and created a couple more half chances.

I don't care what anyone says I think Ibra was one of the better players on the pitch, especially in first half, together with Julio Cesar and Cambiasso. But everyone did well, except maybe Maicon. Don't know what's happened to him but he isn't being himself.

Hats off to United. The superior team over the two legs, and they deserved to go through, but I think we go out with our chins up. We gave them a hell of a fight despite the scoreline suggesting otherwise.

Ok, now that we're done, let's focus on Serie A. For next season we got to get that creative midfielder, maybe even two of them.

I wish this could be the last post in the thread, and it gets locked before the stupidity spreads.

Yes I'm bitter - understandably - and I'll take it out here.

If you think any of the players did anything wrong, you weren't watching the game.

If you think Mourinho did anything wrong, then you don't understand tactics.

Don't even compare this to last year. Manchester are ten times the team Liverpool were against us, and we are miles ahead of where we were last year. If you think differently then you have a short memory span.

We didn't play a perfect match, but who does - except Manchester, who are on top of the world right now. We lost 2-0 for the best team in the world and we looked very decent doing it.

Your frustration is understandable, and I'll personally go look for something to smash. But please be logical and rational as hard as it is in these times. Our players went out with their heads held up high, which is something I cannot say for the past few years. Please give their performance the respect it deserves and keep YOUR heads high as well.

Forza Inter per sempre!

First goal was always going to be crucial and conceding one after 4 minutes really hurt. The boys tried their hardest but luck just wasn't with us. Hitting the post/bar twice really hurt.

I felt we played well, really couldn't ask for much more except viera marking properly and the boys taking one of those chances.

We need to change a few things and regroup.

I am not as angry as I was after villareal, valencia, milan or liverpool.

He is the last person to blame, it isn't his fault we don't get proper playmakers year after year.

Of all the years we played 4312, how many playmakers came up on the market? Riquelme, Nasri and Hleb is all I can think of. (I'll skip Dinho becuase I think he is a crap). Riquelme wanted to go back to Argie and stay with his family. The other two only came up on the market last year. One almost had a deal with us.

How is a coach not to be blamed when his initial tactic fails and he falls back to an incomplete tactic, thus fails again? Why would we even need a coach if everything is supposed to be ready-made and perfect without the coach? He was given a chance to improve it, with possibly biggest budget since Lippi.

How can someone say he was proud of Inter today? What did Inter actually do today? Wasted some chances, run after ManU players and ball most of the match when ManU wanted to keep the ball. They did exactly the same against Barcelona last season, they scored and then they sit back and defended. Barca didn't do shit, just kept the ball like we did in the 2nd half after ManU's second goal.

What bugs me is that where's all the fight?! Our players showed hardly any grit, urgency and DESIRE to win and go through! Jesus christ if it's the most important match of the season, show it to us too! Of course ManU's quality made Inter look bad but I want to see some fighting and desire for once.

(I'll skip Dinho becuase I think he is a crap).

Dinho is more creative than our midfielders put together. He isn't as good as he used to be, but he can still hold the ball, dribble and create goals.

If we had a player like him, we'd have 6 more points in Serie A and probably be in the Q-finals now. We aren't that far off, we just need players like him and/or better ones in midfield.

I can agree about the second half, but are you saying we didn't show any desire to win in the first half? Don't think we watched the same game. Ibra didn't bury any of his chances, and that's why we lost. Even if he did play well in the first half, it's not enough.

We showed heart today I don't care what some say we played a top team and there was nothing we could do. Everyone gave their all so fuck off we played the world champions if it was a defeat against Valencia or Villareal yes we should be criticised but here we gave our all and there was nothing we could do. We had some good chances but thats football imo we deserved more.

If we want to keep playing with this formation, we need at least 3 good key players. A finisher, a play maker and a central midfielder.

Adriano, Stankovic and Vieira out. Muntari is still 23, we can atleast use him as a sub.

We lost to the best team in the world. We definitely didn't play bad, we could have won but we just off frame a few times and didn't put a man on the post. There is no point in getting bent out of shape at other posters who are trying to make the best out of things.

I agree, it sucks losing in the round of 16 of the CL every year, I actually barely even care about the scudetto because I just want to advance in the CL. But the team wasn't bad these past two games. We created but we didnt finish. A lucky bounce or two couldve changed everything.
