Malcom to Roma DONE.

35M + 2.5M bonus. He will get 3M including bonuses, 5 year deal.

We are really excellent scouting players so that our big rivals can steal them and shit on our face.

Тhere is something fishy around this guy. First he was linked to the likes of Inter, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool and then went ot Fulham and Everton to ends in Roma. I don't say that Roma is poor team but these 35m are peanuts for Tottenham or Arsenal and when they haven't bought him means that he is not so BIG talent.
I've watched almost all YouTube videos of him and really think that Karamoh has bigger ceiling than Malcolm. The latter is more matured and has much better long range shot than our guy but that's all. Don't see any reason splashing 35-40m on him and giving 3m wage.

Not this again, just be honest we have no chances if any big club join bidding war to our target. We have upperhand when Everton, Leicester, Fulham or even Valencia join the races since we have CL football this year and he choose italy. But when Roma offer same amount with CL in hand its pretty much we just too late to sealed a deal. The only way why team like Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs halfassing their interest to him is they have better player already and not gonna spend another 40mil for some potential.

As someone point out with Malcom or not we still need one marquee signing for RW so we didnt end up like last year when we lack ideas in front because our limited option. And I agree to Karamoh part, with CL exposure his price tag will easily skyrocketted next year. Hope we just have a guts for once to trust this kid and hope he can payback that.

They could only afford him because they sold Alisson. Now just imagine we would have sold Skriniar or Icardi and gotten Malcolm instead, FIF would be in complete meltdown. Will Malcolm and maybe Areola make Roma a better team then before? We cant know for sure but i have my doubts.

Let's face it - both of those guys looked like low-risk signings. Candreva was pretty great and consistent for Lazio and J. Mario just won the Euros being played every game and actually playing very intelligently.

The worst transfer we've made in recent years was Gabigol. Even Kdog proved that he isn't that bad after all.

Good post. I would even consider K-dog as a low risk signing as he was very good at Sevilla and Monaco, can't really blame Ausilio for messing up. Its very unfortunate that we burned so much money on these guys, but its obvious they have one thing in common (apart from Candreva). They all came from leagues that are well below Serie A level. We are not alone with bringing expensive players from those leagues and realizing they are not even remotely good enough. It happened to Juve, it happened to Milan. I hope Ausilio will be extra cautious with singings like that from now on.

Why are people crying here? We can't spend money on this guy, simple as we have bigger priorities to handle (CM, RB) plus its not like this guy is a world beater or anything. He had a very good season with Bordueax, just like Karamoh 2 years ago. Karamoh's minutes will decrease if this guy came anyway.

Karamoh has to explode this year, his potential is frightening. He can get more minutes as the vice-Perisic and Vice Politano.

40m is a lot of money for him, I won't criticise our management even a bit that we failed to sign him. Though a loan with option to buy would have been a reasonable deal eventually, but a straight purchase of like 40m is a big no-no to me.

Roma has sold their players for good money over the past few years therefore they have a luxury to gamble on someone like Malcom.

And we simply couldn't do that because of the settlement agreement! This is not even a discussion whether we should have done it or not.

When do you criticezers understand it?

The management should have succeeded in selling Mario, Candreva and Vecino. So it's Ausilieo's fault.

It's like rinse and repeat I swear  I don't know what they think is surprising about what's going on right now. We are unable to come up with the cash, but Roma are. They just sold fucking Allison for a considerable amount of money, thus they can spend. Have you seen any body willing to take our shit for the right price!? If we undersold anyone y'all will still fucking complain, damnnn!

He gonna go to Roma and in two years be sold for at least twice that..

I really have to wonder why we announce our intentions so loudly if we have no desire of executing. We're basically giving these clubs free advertising for their players.

We had a deal but they stalled in our offer made an excuse want to find his replacement first but then still seeking suitor like Valencia, Everton, Fulham which Malcom rejecting since we still in on upperhand until Roma unexpected offer is arrives which happen after Allison sales. And how exactly we made silent operation these day, in 2018 when all information is coming for free? Do we just sit still and do nothing? Malcom is our target since last year, with help of KIA we thought we can seal the deal asap but then they refusing our offer despite give them greater amount of money in the end just because that loan with option term. We offering them total 40 mil since we know we can pay them up after the season end and the only reason why we cant made outright buy is that frickin FFP. Its not our fault if they are the one who being an ass rejecting our offer even after we give them 10 mil upfront for the loan, who give that much money for loan if we didnt want to redeem him in first place. Its not like Bordeaux need some money to compile some FFP bullshit like Valencia, its just they trying to rip us off made a bidding war. We already did everything right to negotiated this deal but then there is some X factor we cant control.

FYI, last summer we were linked to dalbert since May 2017 then he rejected all offers from the likes of BPL clubs (Liverpool, etc) and waited for us until the very last days of mercato. That’s what i call “ only wants inter”

Yeah seem Malcom to want to Italy and his agent was doing his job. We cannot work in silence if agent / player have other ideas like in this case Inter was not the only choice. If it was, we probably could have got him in August or something, on loan eventually.
