I am sure they would gladly accept a mutual termination. For 1m or so less than the amount they are due in their contract...meaning we will save pennies by doing it, nothing more.

Did anyone watch Maicon last season??? What the fuck happened to this guy? Lazy isn't even the word.
His ability cannot be questioned, but his heart and work rate can.
We were doing shite in the league and had our backs up against the wall, you think that would motivate the players, then you see Maicon not even attempting to run past players and basically just looking like he doesn't give a shit. After Bale raped him I think it must of messed with his head a bit.

From watching Maicon last season I seriously hope PSG make us an offer for him.

What's a shame is that if this guy actually tries he's probably Inters best player as he can defend and contribute massively in attack. Just looks like his heart aint in it anymore

Would be great if we got an offer for him, and with the money from Pandev too we would have more booty in our war chest for transfers. Just Deki, Chivu, Lucio and Forlan to get shut off next. I can see all of them staying tbh lol

pretty sure that maicon and lucio will leave and well get something for them

might still get rid of forlan but looking less and less likely

were stuck with Deki and Chivu unfortunately but its our (management) own fault

It would pretty much suck if we end up selling Maicon for anything less than 10m€. He's already 31 yes, but on the other hand, he is just 31. Given the right motivation, I'm sure he's able to give at least 2 good seasons (at his level, which is world class). We are in a tough spot since we really want to get rid of his salary so we need to sell him now (contract expiring next summer).

Good point Cafe. Maicon situation is interesting. He can still produce a beast performances but he's way too inconsistent and that makes him less productive, but I guess we can get him sold for something like 10m€ in teams like PSG, Anzhi or an eventual swap-deal with ManCity, which I wouldn't mind.

Does no one else think that if Maicon was meant to be a RM? seriously.... That guy is okay at defending, but amazing at runs, can dribble, cross, and has a cannon shot! The ideal Right mid needs to be decent at defending so the fullback can position himself. I think who ever labeled Maicon as fullback fucked up his career :trollol: Maicon should have been a RM from the beginning with Zanetti behind him:fuckyea:
