That's my philosophy for years. Well, to some point.

After what Maicon said after winning Serie A and CL, and what he showed after juBe game I expect him to stay. If he will leave in the end, I will loose a lot (almost all) of respect for him. I probably won't call him traitor, for all the things he did, and for the fact that I couldn't put him in the same line as fatass, but he won't be a legend for me, not even close. Just a former mercenary.

If he wouldn't say anything, if he wouldn't show anything, he could have left, and I could understand it easily, because of the challange thing. Same as what it was initially with Ibrahimovic.

But once he started talking there is no turning back from that. You don't say one thing, and then 2 weeks later do the other. That's a big lack of respect towards the tiffosi. (ofcourse not all tiffosi, some don't care about this stuff)

And that ^^^ is one of the reasons I believe for the past year, it's all about money (which I'm not to happy about, but it's something I can understand to some degree) for Douglas, not about leaving Inter. I don't believe he is that kind of a person. I believe he really feels like part of the family here. We'll see in the end. As long as I don't see him saying live he wants to leave for Madrid, or see him in Madrid shirt, I will not say a bad word about Maicon. And I don't want to write down all the possible scenarios.
