leg·end / ˈlɛdʒənd / [lej-uhnd]
-noun
a nonhistorical or unverifiable story handed down by tradition from earlier times and popularly accepted as historical.

Well he is a legendary backstabbing b@stard and it definitely won't be forgotten, nor forgiven, for eternity.

Maybe I should rather use the word great than instead of legend. ronaldo shouldn't be remember as an Inter Great since he doesn't rank up their with the likes of Fachetti,Bergomi,Mazzola, ect

I don't want to discuss this anymore..

Baggio and Oba are there cause of sentimental reasons of the users of this forum. They aren't really Inter Greats.

So now the sentimentality suddenly counts..

Wow, thats great.. when it comes to Vieri then it doesn't right??..

You are just jumping into your own mouth..

Everyone should have the same treatment, thats all I'm saying.. Obviously, they aren't..

I don't think they should be in La Grande Inter but those who decide these things on the forum I believe have them in la grande cause of sentimental reasons.;) They just like Ronaldo aren't Inter greats.

Vieri played 6 seasons with us and scored over 100 goals don't even mention him and Ronaldo in the same sentence.

Mike I will mention both in the same sentance, cause I believe both Vieri and Ronaldo treated our club, officials, moratti and the fans like Scum.

FUKC THEM BOTH.

Move vieri out of Legendary inter now, he taints the names Mazzola, Fachetti etc...its like a spit in the face.

And for the fuking record MR Stefan.

Did Roberto Baggio score as much as Vieri for us? No he did not, he had one good season with us too. just like Ronadlo... so your theory about not adding him for that is flawed. However Robbie gets a spot in that thread, and dont be blind and say Ronaldo has not achieved as much as him because thats a load of shit...about 2 world cups and almost every league title and top scorers position.

Now im not campaigning for Ronaldo to be in, cause that scum does not deserve to be. But I just want that homo Vieri out and to show that the sections are not based on facts but on bias.

WTF?? Were do I say Ronaldo has achieved less than R.Baggio?? I don't think Baggio or Ronaldo deserves to be in La Grande, neither does Martins.;)

Vieri qualifies cause of his 100 goals.

Ok. I was just telling you that Baggio is in that thread. Even though he did as much as Ronaldo did for us.

Vieri still deserves to be out.

Roberto Baggio is a legend, nobody cares about where he played, he is like Maradona, one of the greatest, and anti-moggi.

Ronaldo laugh on Inter fans and Moratti, **** him always.

This is Inter legends alex, not legends of the game.

If that were true, then we could name many stars who came for one season and did nothing but did plenty with other clubs.

is baggio is in for his season, then so should ronaldo. Personally BOTH shouldnt, none are inter legends.

Neither is that gay-looking-traiting shithead named Vieri.

Neither ronaldo or baggio are inter legends, vieri is another case,i dont blame people who hate him cause frankly he still did alot of shit things but he also took a lot of shit from having his restaurant bombed to get alot of boos but anyone who hates him has the right to do so,but i just love him to much to hate him.

I was disappointed with his move to milan to,i mean i thought to myself how could a player that played for us for 6 years and scored that many goals have the nerve to go milan, but now that its over i think he did it to get back at moratti and inter for letting him go,also it was a chance for him to stay at milan, and i hated him for that.

Now that its over and i remeber all the times he was with us and how he should have stayed with us and retired with us and the goals he scored and the happy times we had with him and how he almost led us to a scudetto and how happy he was when he scored again milan in the CL....and i forget he ever went to milan, and even tho he never won alot with us no body can deny that vieri his prime and best time as a footballer was with inter, and dont forget meazza did the same thing and he went to TWO rival clubs AFTER he was with us for so long yet that doesnt make him any less of an inter legend, why? Because of everything he did while he was with us.

Look guys, whther you like it or not, Ronaldo was a great guy for Inter, but he stopped being a legend when he moved to our rivals, just like Ayala now with his move from Che to Villareal ;)

Think about it man, inter stodd by this guy so freaking long after his injury they could have just cancelled his contract or whatever...but they stood by him got him back from a terrible injury then he freaking left, then after he leaves he goes back to milan,i mean thats no 1 stab its 2 ****ing stabs, vieri was one of the best strikers in the world when he was with us,hell even when he was off form he still managed to bag 13 goals a season, how could you say ronaldo ronaldo is an inter legend just for 1 season?

I mean i liked ronaldo in the past to mate, yes he could have been an inter legend had he not has injuries but so could have been recoba,i mean recoba has always been injured and he scored the same amount of goals as ronaldo, why not consider him also an inter legend? at least he is freaking loyal.

And lol ot of all my post you qouted just 1 freaking line and how could you say vieri wasnt, with us he was one of the best strikers in the world.

Ronaldo being a best footballer didn't really count for us, he was at his best only for one season, and that's it. If that reason qualifies him to be in La Grande, then anyone else who had a good background would instantly qualify as well.

Roberto Baggio also had a great background before he joined Inter. But he also only had one good season with Inter, and that's it.

Vieri might not have been the best footballer, but he was certainly one of the best strikers in the world. His finishing and scoring capabilities is what any other strikers can only dream of. He almost single handedly lifted us to top places in Cuper's era, and got us to CL qualifying places. However, his constantly begrudging attitude during his time in Inter and his betrayal to join Milan certainly disregarded the things he did for us.

To be in La Grande, I reckon we should only consider what he had done for Inter, and of course during his time in Inter. However, other considerations should also be taken. Players in La Grande should be the ones that act as samples to future Inter players, and I highly doubt Ronaldo, Roberto Baggio and Vieri are in that class. Listing them with the names like Mazzola and Fachetti is just crazy.

Edit: I can't be bothered to list what Ronaldo did to us after he left us, it's just somethings that can hardly be forgiven.

hal bro you,re an idiot. He was a legend before he left us and because we didn't need him anymore he went to Milan big shit. It doesn't cancel out his 100+ goals for us and that he was one of the best strikers to EVER wear this shirt. And by best I don't mean a sentimental fagget that shows his love for Inter **** love he did what he had to do on the field consistently and that's what counts.

Legend-ness by the way I see it:

1. Vieri
2. Baggio
3. Favalli
4. Ronaldo

Legend-ness the way I see it:

1. Baggio:

For the record, he is more of a Fiorentina and Juve hero than an AC Milan or an Inter one. His time with us was good, and he didn't stab us in the back and left, he wanted to stay, but motherf*cker Lippi wanted him out. And his last ever goal for Inter was so memorable: a game winner against Parma in a playoff match to see who goes to the CL.

2. Ronaldo:

I don't like him, but his first season with us was MUCH better than any season Baggio or Vieri had, a fact that some people seem to forget. Furthermore, amongst the three, he was the one that lead us closest to Serie A. If it wasn't for cheating, we would have won that one. And 2002 near-title wasn't partly due to Vieri, it was Kallon and Ventola.

Also, unlike Baggio and Vieri, Ronaldo did actually lead us to a prestigious tournament (I know it's still UEFA cup, but beating Lazio in Paris for it meant something.)

But the way he left was the ugliest.

3. Vieri:

Had the most goals, but the least impact (IMHO.) And his exit was stupid too, not as bad as Ronaldo, but it still hurt a little bit. Still, 120 goals are something. In his defence, we had shitty teams when he was here. Just think about what he may have done with Figo, Stan, Ibra etc. etc.
