Who cares if the Gordo scores in the derby as long as we win.
Nobody wonders why a major team like Real, who does not have a surplus of strikers, got rid of him? The only thing i'm happy about is he did not come back with us. And I will be more happy if he will break up compleatly his new team.

This is different story, Vieri was already finished when he joined AC Milan. Ronaldo has still 2 years at the highest level + he is almost for free. I think this is great move by Rossoneri, something like Crespo to Inter this summer.

For someone to compare Crespo in the last 4 years to Ronaldo's last 4 years has to be an idiot. Ronaldo for me now is on par with Lampros Choutos in terms of what he can offer up front. Crespo still has the capability of being the top goalscorer in Serie A when Ronaldo can't even score 2 goals in a half a season in the spik league.

I see Mike comparing him with Choutos, that's not serios and I would be very carefull with predictions of this Ronaldo adventure, he's not too old, he is relaxed(didn't play nothing this season) so I am afraid that he will be, together with Kaka, key man for Milan.

And I know that you guys won't like this but:
"Motivated and hellty Ronaldo is the best scorer in Serie A".

You guys obviously haven't watched any Real Madrid games this season. What now that he flew to Italy he's supposed to magically become the player he was 5 years ago? Mah please don't waste bandwith for nutting..

are you kidding?

every single game he has played he has still done very well for Madrid. The Madrid fans want him to play rather than Ruud.

you just have to see his performance against Barcelona last season to know what I'm talking about.

now that he has lost weight he will be even more valuable.

the guy is a deadset bastard of the highest order but his skills and goal scoring ability (even now) cannot be doubted.

If you forget this half season, and look at Ronaldo's record in Spain, then his perfomance is nothing short of excellent. More than 20 goals in the league in the first 3 season, followed by 14 goals in only 23 games last season, shows the quality of this guy. I think he was one of those Real players, who always got the blame when not performing, but never really get any credit, when he is doing well.
I dont know why Capello stopped using him, he was never really given a fair chance in Real with Capello. Ofcourse the fact that he was caught on camera, with Diarra and Cassano mocking Capello, didnt impress the latter very much.

I do think that Milan got a bargain for him, and he is going to prove an asset for them, as long as they keep him away from all the McDonald's in town. He still has a good 2 years left in him.

The chances are slim, but I really really wanna face Milan in the Coppa Italia final this season.

Maldini used to be on of my idols......

After this i have lost a bit of respect for him :(
I kind of remember Maldini once saying Ronaldo was even tougher than Ronaldo, but I'm not dead-sure.

he may still be a tough and very good player....but some comments by Maldini indicate respect for Ronaldo personally which is unfathomable.

If some Inter fans wouldn't be knocked down by his actions then it would've not gotten such widespread reaction. I never was much of a Ronaldo fan.Didn't like him before he went to RM even. But this transfer gives us the opportunity to finally react to his departure. I've wanted us to face RM just for that every year in CL.

But to compare him to Choutus is ridicilous. He may not run etc, but if Kaka gives him the chances then he'll score them. His finishing still remains I think. I'm worried to see him score in the derby, that's the only fear I couldhave. If it would be up for me I wouldn't really care what else he does in our beloved rivals.

I think you havent thought about Maldini's caharacter. He is always been the one with politically correct answers and always has respected the opponent and his team-mates. He's never been controversial in his sayings and never been Milanisti favourite because he's a tifosi, but because he earns respect from opponents as well.
If you were looking forward to hear that true Milanista doesn't like the new(in a few hours) signing then you're hope would've been Gattuso. Even he doesn't start with such unprofessional sh!t.

Maybe you should take your head out of Ronaldo's arse and smell the fresh air.

 This is just hilraious. Shah gave you stats and valid opinions, so the least you could to is counter it legitilmately.

I know this is emotional and all, and belive me, I almost prayed to God to amputate this guy when he left. But I think it's time we moved on and became more realistic.

Ronaldo will be beneficial to Milan because a bad Ronaldo is better than a good Gilardino and a good Oliveira.
