Even though Deki has been crap this season, it was a good game from him after the 1st 10 minutes..

Add to that Deki can run for much longer, because Figo aint 20 anymore..

Or Mancio's love for him and rift with a much better, much more skilled and someone who has more vision in Luis Jimenez.

Mancini never wanted figo to stay another season. Especially when Moratti didnt bring in another midfielder to replace him. Mancini wanted to get his message across and Figo stayed on mainly because he wanted to win a champions league trophy. But he didnt even feature much. Overall it wasnt such a good idea for him to stay and he probably regrets it.

Yeah. It was Moratti who wanted Figo to stay. That's why the management structure in this club isn't healthy, as the owner can decide who will be in the squad.

That's probably the main block for Mourinho coming to Inter. Mourinho absolutely demands full power in building the squad, which is completely right way to do things. It's just the old habit in Italy where coaches are just coaches and not managers like in England.

I have to say, Figo was one of Moratti's best transfers.

I feared this for Figo. Now his memory will somehow be stained by this bad last season. But we must not forget the tremendous impact he has had on this Inter. Without him I'm not sure we would've been where we are today.

Bye Bye Figo. I really hope we dont extend his contract.

He had a very good first season with us, a below avg. second one, after which we shouldnt really have extended his contract, but we did anyways. This season, he had a decent start, but he had to get injured.

I hope if Mancini leaves, he joins our managment department, becomes our tehnical director or something.

Mourinho wants to coach in Italy or Spain. He knows that he want at any club in these two countries get the control you get at an english club. He will compromise.

Isn't that at most clubs? Even at Chelsea Mourinho was upset about few players. Fergie and Wenger have total control but the reasons there are different.

Yeah, but he can choose his club he wants, in other words he can choose the club who gives him best conditions. Hope Moratti can give those conditions to him.

Yeah, but it's not very precise. If one club can give him "some" control over the transfers, and the other club gives him more, what does it mean? There is no in between, there is no "some" or more. It is either you get controll, or you get none. What Mancio has is illusional, because he might get some, but if Moratti is putting his hand down, he will get what he want's and in that case Mancio has no power, as it is. So it's all relevant.

And basing on that assumption, Jose has not much to gain in that department, no matter where he goes, and he must know this.

In Spain for instance, the presidents are offering players when ellected for cry out loud, no matter what the coach wants.

He would gain total acces only in England, he would like that in Italy or Spain too, but it's not how things work in Latino countries.

Sure, one club can offer more(at some degree), but I think there are other more important factors he would take under consideration. From what I got from him, the most he wants is total support of the club, and confidence in him, as well as the goal, that the club wants to be the best.

We are really in very good position, and loosing this guy will be like crashing your new Ferrari just before reaching the insurance headqaurters.

Figo didn't watch the Cagliari game. He was at the Monte Carlo ATP final with his wife and child :p
The camera showed them a couple of times :)

Mancini has frozen him out completely.

But its doesnt really matter at this stage of the season.

But sad it had to end this way for Figo at Inter.
