With our 17 consecutive victory ended last match, there is no winning pressure on this one. HOWEVER, it is very important to win and do well because it will serve as confidence booster ahead of Valencia match. In addition, we need to show everyone that Inter can come back from the dip and continue another streak.

Deki will be back and Dacourt should be fit. Burdisso can start playing in center of defence. Unless Mancini choose to rest them for the Valencia match. Either way, Forzza Inter :):boogy:

I think at least half of the starting lineup against Valencia needs to be rested. This match is not important compared to the CL match. Plus, our half-reserves should probably at least get a draw against Livorno which is good enough.

Plus, in terms of psychology, it's better to lose playing your reserve team than to draw playing your first team, if for some reason we don't beat Livorno.

Be optimistic dude....
I am in a fix though.
- We need to rest the best players...for them to be fit and fresh for Valencia
- We should not rest our players cos after all the injuries we dont know what our best formation is...like the Udinese we can conduct experiments like Burdisso in mid or something.

Not taking away anything from Livorno but we need to rest certain players such as Ibra.

Just kidding.... But that's my wishes though ~

-------------Choutos--------Cruz-------------
---------------------Recoba------------------
-------Solari--------Dacourt-------Zanetti-----
--Grosso------Samuel----Cordoba---Andreolli---
---------------------J.Cesar-------------------

And "unfortunately", we are most likely to see:

--------------Ibrahimovic----Cruz---------------
----------------------Figo---------------------
----------Zanetti----Dacourt---Stankovic-------
---Maxwell-------Samuel----Burdisso----Maicon--
---------------------J.Cesar----------------------

Dun wanna risk Ibra. But can we start Chino or even Choutos? NO!
Dun wanna risk Deki. But can we have another option? NO!
Dun wanna exhaust Nico who played as a DM yesterday. But will Mancini start him against Valencia? NO, i.e. he will play against Livorno.
Dun wanna risk Maicon. But will Mancio put Andreolli in this so called "confidence-booster" game? NO!

Mancio said Ibra would be resting one of the games(i.e. 1 of Udinese or Livorno). He played the whole game against Udinese yesterday so he's gonna be on the bench.

Adri is out, Crespo suspended maybe we will play with one striker, that being Cruz. I expect El Chino to get some playing time just to get him some fitness or form in the 2nd half.

Maxwell, Samuel, Cordoba, Capitano in defence and Deki,Dacourt,Solari Mariano with maybe Figo as trequarterista.

I have a bad feeling about this game. :(

Is Recoba still injured? Why don't we play Filkor up front? He can be an important player for our future. I honestly don't see much going for Choutos. I think Gonzales would be good for this game because Figo needs to rest. Figo's been playing continuously and frankly that's not good if you're already age 34.

This game is going to be harder than people expect. Livorno are a tight team at home and even the best Inter would struggle to get a result here. If we can come away with a win it will be spectacular but I am expecting nothing more than a hard fought draw with a very depleted and unfocused team.

it makes sense to rest key players and prepare for Valencia....
i would like to see

toldo - burdisso, materazzi, samuel, maxwell - gonzalez, stankovic ( some youngster after 60 mins ), dacourt ( same thing as with deki ), solari - recoba, cruz

as i think that andreolli isn't fit yet, if he is, him instead of burdisso....
dacourt needs just a half, cuz he hasn't played much recently.....
i'd risk with recoba again....

we play better outside Milano, so we'll win

FORZA INTER!

This is a tricky one. We should rest some key players but still win away against a decent team, I'd go with Stefan's lineup.

Reason for so many players are called up is that all the players bar Vieira (notice Andreolli missing too) is leaving for Spain the same night.

Interesting to see Mancini's starting lineup. Zlatan will rest, but who else? Maicon really needs it, but can we afford to do that? Materazzi will be out too, but is Cordoba going to play? When it comes to midfield, I would go with Figo, that way he wouldn't start against Valencia. Figo and Mariano behind Cruz and Stankovic-Dacourt-Zanetti combining the midfield.

I see that now aswell. but I still don't get how cambiasso if he is suppose to be out for a month can even be consider for the valencia game. I hope they aren't rushing him back.

but if he is 100% fit, not talking match fit since he won't be. It would be a massive boost to the team.

He's not considered either. As said, they have called up every first team player, bar Vieira (who is in Lyon for rehab). Cambiasso is going there to continue his rehab.

Starting Recoba = massive suicide.

Ibra needs to be rested. Thats why mancini has said Gonzalez is most likely to play as Second striker to Cruz.

What worries me is Dacourt and Stankovic will play. We should try protect our midfielders i.e. Oli, Stank. Cause if even one of them get an injury against Livorno good bye CL.

Im going to be dead honest, I give no SHITS about this Livorno game. It is so insignificant compared to valencia its not funny.

With you all the way on that one hal. It would be embarrassing to lose and could impact the CL game a little bit. But the Livorno game is chump change compared to the Valencia game.

The most probable line-up if Figo is going to play the Valencia's one.
-----------Cruz----------Mariano-----------
-----------------Solari--------------------
-----Zanetti---Dacourt--Stankovic------
-Grosso---Samuel----Cordoba---Burdisso-
-----------------J.Cesar--------------------

Subs: Ibrahimovic, Recoba, Figo, Maxwell, Maicon, Materazzi, Toldo

It won't be too bad if Maxwell steps up for Zanetti's position. He should be given some rest too, at least not a starter.
