I saw their game yesterday and have to say Torres has matured a lot. He will be a real threat.

I saw it too..His finishing was good but they still struggle in making anything look smooth offensively.

Gerrard and Torres will be they keys to the game.If he starts we cant let Babel make runs too..

Player wise both teams are up there i just hope Benitez loses his CL touch in those two legs..

don't look to hard into Liverpool's league form,it's up and down more than Jordans nickers.And our early European Cup form wasn't up to much.
But when it's time to dig deep,when we are really up against it, we
somehow manage to pull it off.
And drawing Inter is a dream for most Liverpool fans.
1- revenge for defeat all those years ago.
2-a chance to experience an atmosphere far better than AC.

Anyways, as time moves on over the next few months,here's hoping we can all have a reasonable chat/debate about our great sides.

It will be very interesting to play Liverpool's 11. Plus, Figo's best club when he was a kid was Liverpool. I think that they would be certanly better in CL than in their league but we are favorites in this match. I hope that we'll beat Liverpool and win CL.

I was in the kop end for liv - chelsea a few years back (oct? 05) where liv got beaten 4-1... And I've been in the San Siro for a Milan derby...

and I tell you what the milan derby was EASILY a much better atmosphere

Our atmosphere at Anfield is much better on European Nights. It was incredible during the matches with Barca and Chelsea last year. Even the Barca fans started singing YNWA with us.

here's an interesting statistic for our liverpool inclined forum members

Fernando torres league form -
8 goals in 1049 minutes.

Cruza league form -
10 goals in 897 minutes

Ibrahimovic -
9 goals in 1138 minutes (and given the fact most people consider him to be in a bit of a league goal drought, since he hasnt scored anything but a pen since before Roma, i think?)

and as for chelsea, the 2 euro semis we had against them, you really would be hard pressed to find a better atmosphere. and what side could create an atmosphere like we did when 3-0 down against AC? i think most sides support would have all gone home at half time.
