XP2..

Not a fan of Linux, i have made research, it was a subject i had to do for my Uni...

And although Linux users are satisfied, and more and more users use linux, i am still not fan of it, the more users there are, the more it begins to be insecure.

Love linux, but I'm no shell scripting guru, so I prefer OSX.

that's the point..

There aren't many users that use linux. So the hackers don't need to make viruses for Linux, and it is easy to be made, it's not much of a satisfactionf of making a virus for linux..

I know it is open sorce, and i know you can delete the part of the code where the virus is, but there are worse viruces that can damage part of your hardware, but still now into the Linux..

So, the more users Linux has, the more hackers will be trying to make viruses for Linux. The more users it has, the more competative it will be to create a virus.

sorry pajo but you R wrong

in linux there is some thing like an acces level

or property that any code need it to run

and viruses don't have it

but when we talk about kernel viruses or damage codes
there is an every day update because it's open source and every one can give a help

sure, open source and can delete the virus..

The thing is, what if someone manage to create a virus that is not implemented in the code? It can just access the OS, and as external virus to damange yout PC...

It can be done, but no one is really tring to, since it is not used as windows is :)
