despite having many tall players, we def need to improve in aerial duels
So we scored the most goals from set pieces and conceded? I feel like that might not add up, as I think there were many teams conceding more from set pieces. I also thought that that the goal Higuain scored was the first we conceded directly from a set piece, but then Politano's goal came as well. They may be counting the Genoa and SPAL goals which where after a set piece and scramble in the box.
To think if that 10 mins of madness didn't happen, the chaos that would have ensued in this forum to firing Spal, Suning and the players would gone through the roof.
Checked Berni's stats, dude had only 28 apps in the last 12 years, only 4 in the last 7 and zero apps in the last 5 years.

good thread as any
our counters being fucked up by Candreva and Perisic...master class
1 goal from a counter! impressive!
Nearly half of our goals came from set pieces and penalty kicks.
I don't mean this as a criticism, as this is evidently intended and rehearsed by both players and coaching staff, but I'd like to see more alternatives in the coming season. I don't know how dependent other teams are on set pieces, but surely they're more able to profit on counter and to dictate tempo with open play.
Cancelo was very good at taking indirect freekicks
I understand your anger, but my post was relevant to the one post aboveFucking Cancelo is on almost every thread. Open Rafina's thread - Cancelo, Merkato team - Cancelo. Lazio-Inter, Kondogbia's thread, Your realistic squad, Defenders rumours.....Cancelo, Cancleco, Canclol... :fffuuu:
The last player I remember FIF having such a fetish for was Emre, but not even close to this Cancelo level.

Just can't stop watching this This match thread easily to 100 pages tho
Is "celebratering" actually a word in the UK or what? Peter Drury said that word, like that, both after the Vecino goal and after the game ended in describing Spalletti.
