I was actually referring to his 3 man offensive scheme (Di Natale, Di Michele, Iaquinta) which was in 2003 or 2004 or something. His 4-6-0 came in 2007 so that's around a decade away.

Everyone in Italy was using 2 strikers, 1 striker + 1 forward tandems or 1 striker with 2 attacking midfielders behind (not necessarily wingers).
Spalletti built from the latter and had a crazy offens ive line that others emulated later. The 4-6-0 was almost like a full innovation though.

We are not Atalanta, and I am sure Martinez knows that. If he wants to start every game, he needs to prove he is worth it on the pitch.

I think he is too raw to become a starter for us immediately, lets not put such high expectations on a kid who is new to Europe. This is his year to grow and acclimatise to Inter and Serie A, and make his mark. I am sure with Eder gone, he will have enough playing time a kid needs to grow. If he starts delivering, he will start more often. Simple as.

i agree, that's why it should be better to loan him, to Cagliari perhaps, then next year he comes back with Barella in the same plane to milano.
