The other issue with giving him 10 mln is that the rest of the starters will start asking for the same (or close) salaries as well.
if its structured around competition performance and participation e.g just as an example, 6m base, +1m for CL group stages, +1m for serie a top 2, +1m for CL QF, +1m for CL SF, +1m for scudetto, whatever, then its fine, because his salary is directly linked to our revenue
