its just the wishfulthinking of others, they hate him as a player and chelsea as team, so these cheap shots somehow make them feel better. :stuckup:

I rate Terry, I don't hate him I hate the hype.

I even tipped Chelsea for the title at the start of the season so this is just about Terry and not his club, he is overhyped but he is a good defender at the same time.

Lets just leave it at that, no point fighting over nothing.

Terry is overhyped BIG TIME, Rio and King are better and Henry should of won the player of the year award.

Terry isn't even the best defender at his club(Gallas) nor the best player(Lampard followed by Makelele)

Terry is good and overhyped doesn't mean you are a bad player, just not as good as the majority and the media makes out.

He just plays in a fantastic defensive unit and a great team, If he played at Spurs he'd be shown up for what he is.. a good defender but no way the best.

I agree 100% of what you said. It has nothing to do with me hating the EPL or whatever, Terry is overrated, and in no way should be the PFA. If Woodgate was still around, it would've been him and Rio as the starters of the NT.

I dont know why some people get sensitive here...Terry is a good defender hands down but that doesnt mean that the English media doesnt overrate him...Just like another kid called Beckham

Yes terry is good but in Chelsea the best player is Lampard by far,and he deserved that trophy more than anyone..Lampard only came in second last year to a FANTASTIC SUPER HENRY, and coming second to him is in no way bad..

Lampard has lead their midfield offensively better than anyone in SOOO many games over two years.I dont recall him skipping a whole game during that time... He also did the same with England.

In the NT Lampard is a sure starter but in the Euro's Terry was and would still be (if their were no injuries) behind Rio,Sol,and Woodgate(too bad he is always injured). Thats how hardworking and impressive Terry got into the NT. Remember that King is in the mix too and he did brilliantly in his last showing at the big stage...England is very lucky to have such a good deep back line.

look mate how is it overrated. his been the best defender of the year, and equal best player of the year.

now you and hamed might now agree, but me, EPL commentators, English Pundits, Chelsea Fans and other teams fans, Sam Allardyce and other EPL coaches all bloody agree his been the best player in the EPL with Lampard.

now i think ill go with that opinion then with some1 like Hamed who personally said he cant stand watching it no more so he doenst lol.

I will post here what I posted in the other thread. I don't why you go around accusing me of basing my opinions on things that I don't watch



Okay, I will say this one more time. I stopped watching EPL only this year because God gave me the chance to watch Serie A and La Liga more. I still saw some matches, and many were Chelsea's.

Also, I've watched Terry since his beginnings, and I was a fan of Chelsea under Vialli, so don't say that I don't watch EPL or Chelsea or hate them or whatever.

I don't know why you take this attitude assuming that anyone that crticizes Terry or Chelsea despises them or is jealous of them, because I am neither. What would I be jealous of? EPL crown, oh please...

Alot of fans can't stand the EPL, don't like Chelsea and think Terry is overrated. It has nothing to do with hatred, jealousy or despise, it's an opinion, take it or leave it I hope you get it this time.
