Just a simple question - how is it called: supercup 2004/05 or 2005/06?

:undecide:

It must be 2005/06 for sure. ;)

Can I just ask what's with all this negative bullshit about Juve played better, Samuel a bad investement and so on? Can't we be freakin happy at least for one damn day after we won something? GRRR!!

Hmm some Inter fans are just Sceptics, who always think the worst will happen  I guess we have to live with that. There are always someone who can find something negative to say even when we have won a trophy.

samuel is what we need

he sucx against skillful players but he is hard tackler, sometimes dirty and we need that, to teach teams we play against not to mess with us

i really felt pain for Samuel when i saw what Zlatan did to him :S

But the truth is that Zlatan is so skilled player that it is not a shame to get tricked by him.Of course I hope that he had tackled the brains out of Ibra but what you can do?

INTER 2009/10 !
It is truth that Samuel still isn't what we expect him to be..
As for me Materazzi is still 1st choice...But since he is injured,I hope Samuel plays against Shakhtar where we almost passed,so he could see how to behave in our defence and mix up with Cordoba..

Walter Samuel could miss Internazionale's first two games of the season if an Italian Football Federal judge rules that the Argentinian was guilty of spitting at Juventus' Pavel Nedved.
The case has been referred to TV analysis after reports suggested that Samuel spat at the Czech international during the Supercup final match between Inter and Juventus.

However, television images are unclear and the defender could be cleared by the fact that it does not seem possible to definitely say whether the alleged disgusting act was committed.
Samuel vehemently denies the charge, saying; "It's possible that I've spat due to nervousness, but it certainly wasn't done towards Nedved."
Nedved himself admits that he was unaware of any wrongdoing: "You are telling me now he spat. I have seen nothing," stressed the creative midfielder.

Samuel stands to miss the Serie A games at home to Treviso and away to Palermo should he be found guilty.

----------------

And that's what I said earlier. To ban a player, there should be a clear proof if the player REALLY committed the mistake he's to be punished for. I watched the incident on and on; but from the angle I got to watch, one definitely can't say that he did spit at him.

:)

All I can say is this. Who ended up with the trophy? Who are the happier ones? The answer is obviously Inter and that is the bottom line. Capello & Zebina can whine and kiss each other's @ss as much as they want but the bottom line is that we won and that is all that matters.

We dominated play against Lecce in Via Del Mare last season but still left with only a point because we drew the game. Need I go on about performances such as those against Bologna, Lazio & Chievo in San Siro last season? Yes we dominated but we didn't win and we're unhappy. So who cares about the level of performance? Bottom line, we won.

Besides, the difference between the 2 sides weren't as big as Capello suggested. Although I feel that Juve started both halves very brightly, we closed the gaps as the halves went on on. The players, especially Cambiasso, improved as the match went on.

On the match itself, it'd be interesting on how long more can Mancini keep Pizarro on the bench. He totally ruled the midfield when he came on and Veron's performance, barring his goal, was poor, at least to me. ;) Also another point, I was extremely pleased that Cambiasso managed to recover as the match progressed. It would be a d@mn shame if he turns out to be a 1-season wonder like Emre. :stress:

Well he is banned...

I remember seeing that incident and it didnt look like anything came close to Nedved...I think the camera angle make it look closer than it really is.

Dont get me wrong i would never defend a disgusting jesture like that but i do think he is being unjustly blamed in this case..

Zlatan is skilled, but hes is not an intelligent player like Adriano. While Zlatan tries to do it all by himself (which Adriano has shown he can do as well) Adriano makes the plays, puts in the passes and crosses and shows more consistency as well.

Ibrahomobitch can either be on fire or cold as ice.

WTF, 3 matches ban, wtf... :fero:

I watched the match and when that incident occured, Nedived didn't even get aware of it, so that is judged as "spit"? :horny:

Spit, is when Rijkaard did it to Völler and the offensed victim showed the proof to ref ; Spit, is when Totti doing so the ref caught it directly without any misunderstanding and hesitation. But this IL Muro episode?

Grrrr job FIGC, I hope you guys always keep your work efficiency as well as this case, and don't give us another delayed league fixture in the future.

Ok first of all,i am very happy for our win,we played a great game against a tough away team and we still won despite our players not being in top form, everybody did their bit in the game and veron ended it with a great strike, this is a great time for me to be an inter fan,i truly hope this winning goes on because we really deserve it,just even the thought of a player like j.zanetti only has 2 trophies is redeciolous, mancini has done a great job unil now and i hope and ask god that may he continue on what he has built i think we have better squads than milan and gobbi and i think we have one of the best teams in the world right now and maybe evene stronger, the talk about samuel being a failure is sad,the guy hasnt even played 2 games with us and pizzaro is one of the best inter buys in recent years,i hope u guys have more faith in this inter as i do ,forza Nerrazurri.

I am content with Samuel, To me he's pretty solid for a guy who just plays nearly two games with us.....

I see good things in him.... I was afraid when matrix was subben, I saw his mistake once, but other than that he's okay..

he's just getting better, So I am not worried

I think that the reason that Juve started to press us the way they did was because our players did not seem fit. As the match progressed we were less and less able to to comit due to physiscal limitations due to fitness it seemed to me and Ze Maria did not have a geat game he was not able to get the crosses right when they could have done the most damage. Cambiasso is just awesome!! he was always either slowing down Juves attacks or completly neutralising them. He is a guy we just can't do wiothout at the moment.

Towards the end of the first half it was becomeing more of a Juve domination in the game in my eyes but that was only because they were able to easily come to attack us through counter attacks. Juve did nopt have a completly solid build up in the entire game everyone of their attacks started as a counter attack which exposed us as we did not press sufficienly.
Pizarro's insertion changed the tide of we constantly losing balls and facing another Juve wave which which were quick but threatening. Pizarro allowed a combination pleasing to the eye in the form of short passes to Veron and attempting to spread play to Deki who was not very noticeable duirng the netire game.
The Referee was awful IMO Viera is a great actor and now I already dislike him. Oba tried hard but in the end of the second half we were playing more of a 4-5-1 formation leaving Adriano alone and Oba on the right wing. To me the change in formation was working as we were able to cover by maintaning ball possesion but just could not build up attacks and tiredness to me was a main factor.

The extra time periods to me were boring apart from Recobas shot after the whistle for a fould which went in.

To me we did deserve to win we were not dominated but Juve were just able to exploit the gaps we left and the at times the signs of fragile defence. We did have luck in not conceding but it was about time when you consider last seasons record for our oposition 1 chance 1 goal.

Lets hope the boys get it right in the fitness side of things and that should solve half our problems.

BTW toldo was ok but I rather Caesar.
