All I can say is this. Who ended up with the trophy? Who are the happier ones? The answer is obviously Inter and that is the bottom line. Capello & Zebina can whine and kiss each other's @ss as much as they want but the bottom line is that we won and that is all that matters.
We dominated play against Lecce in Via Del Mare last season but still left with only a point because we drew the game. Need I go on about performances such as those against Bologna, Lazio & Chievo in San Siro last season? Yes we dominated but we didn't win and we're unhappy. So who cares about the level of performance? Bottom line, we won.
Besides, the difference between the 2 sides weren't as big as Capello suggested. Although I feel that Juve started both halves very brightly, we closed the gaps as the halves went on on. The players, especially Cambiasso, improved as the match went on.
On the match itself, it'd be interesting on how long more can Mancini keep Pizarro on the bench. He totally ruled the midfield when he came on and Veron's performance, barring his goal, was poor, at least to me.
Also another point, I was extremely pleased that Cambiasso managed to recover as the match progressed. It would be a d@mn shame if he turns out to be a 1-season wonder like Emre. :stress:
