Has Gagliardini bought his Juve tickets yet so he can watch the game?
God I remember the outcry this caused at the time haha. It’s crazy to believe that when Gags arrived in January he actually made a very good impact. I don’t know if that just goes to show how shit we were at the time or if he had a few lucky games but I specifically remember his debut thinking we’d just signed one of the best Italian midfielders. He was actually class that game haha

The funny thing was at the time some people argued Gagliardini was the reason Kondogbia looked good in 2016/17. In hindsight, it could be the other way around. That or Gagliardini was one season wonder. He was also good in the second part of the 2017/18 season next to Brozovic but that's where Gagliardini's good stints at Inter end. Nowadays he shouldn't be more than 6th/7th option in midfield. The Ranocchia of midfield.
I said that back then and I still think Spalletti ruined him by not selecting him for euromatches and benching him to play Vecino. He probably lost his confidence which was key at that age.Perhaps it's the classic case of Inter simply destroying a promising young talent.
For instance, I think Gagliardini is actually a decent passer, but at this point of his career he only feels comfortable making the most basic of passes, usually backwards. He used to unlock defenses with his occasional attacking pass.
I see some people are fine (mostly Conte fans) if we lose this. But in reality getting eliminated by a rival who havent been more beatable nowadays for obvious reasons, is as unacceptable as finishing fourth in CL group stage.
Excuses like “we have to focus on Serie A” is pathetic when Juve have BOTH Serie A and CL to fight for. Not mentioning the fact we are literally two games away from winning the trophy, I dont know how that will affect our concentration toward the 18 games left in the league.
What’s an even more pathetic excuse is the usual “Juve are still favorites to win Serie A and Coppa blivious:”. Disgusting mentality injected by Conte in some of the fans.
I'm pretty sure bookies use more calculation than a bunch of random FIF fans. Most bookies have us as favpurite to win Serie A and that's a fact.
If we play like we did both times and without making the moronic mistakes we made the first time we should win this one.
Tbh, I'm pissed we are in such a bad position though considering how we outplayed them in the second half.
