Has Gagliardini bought his Juve tickets yet so he can watch the game?

God I remember the outcry this caused at the time haha. It’s crazy to believe that when Gags arrived in January he actually made a very good impact. I don’t know if that just goes to show how shit we were at the time or if he had a few lucky games but I specifically remember his debut thinking we’d just signed one of the best Italian midfielders. He was actually class that game haha

Perhaps it's the classic case of Inter simply destroying a promising young talent.

For instance, I think Gagliardini is actually a decent passer, but at this point of his career he only feels comfortable making the most basic of passes, usually backwards. He used to unlock defenses with his occasional attacking pass.

The funny thing was at the time some people argued Gagliardini was the reason Kondogbia looked good in 2016/17. In hindsight, it could be the other way around. That or Gagliardini was one season wonder. He was also good in the second part of the 2017/18 season next to Brozovic but that's where Gagliardini's good stints at Inter end. Nowadays he shouldn't be more than 6th/7th option in midfield. The Ranocchia of midfield.

I don't agree, Gag didn't do a good impact. We got good results even though we didn't deserve it, players weren't good. We had a win streak with Pioli and people went nuts without even watching how we fucking played the games.

Yeah I remember he looked decent next to Brozo, my issue with him was always his technique, you can’t be a midfielder and look that uncomfortable on the ball. And then who could forget the famous Vecino vs Gags debate. I know it’s like picking the lesser of two evils kind of thing but I was always Team Vecino on that one.

I said that back then and I still think Spalletti ruined him by not selecting him for euromatches and benching him to play Vecino. He probably lost his confidence which was key at that age.

The starting lineup will tell us everything we need to know, let us imagine this is a Champions League game to get into the last 4, just as an example ( as if Conte could even get us out of the group stage, but I digress ), and we have to overcome an away goals deficit. If Conte starts his usual 3-5-2 lineup, with the same figures, elimination is all but assured, if he is adventurous and pushes, we are knocked out either way, it would atleast signal an intention, but this is Conte we are dealing with here.

I see some people are fine (mostly Conte fans) if we lose this. But in reality getting eliminated by a rival who havent been more beatable nowadays for obvious reasons, is as unacceptable as finishing fourth in CL group stage.

Excuses like “we have to focus on Serie A” is pathetic when Juve have BOTH Serie A and CL to fight for. Not mentioning the fact we are literally two games away from winning the trophy, I dont know how that will affect our concentration toward the 18 games left in the league.

What’s an even more pathetic excuse is the usual “Juve are still favorites to win Serie A and Coppa :eek:blivious:”. Disgusting mentality injected by Conte in some of the fans.

That's such bullshit too, pretty much no one has Rube as favorites over Inter, the fact is that most experts/pundits/gamblers etc. consider Inter's squad on par with Rube's no matter how much Conte's lovers want to make excuses for him and that coupled with the fact that they have a rookie coach and are playing CL, so they have Inter as favorite for the Scudetto.

The few that don't just think that with Inter's typical mentality problems (supposedly one of Conte's strengths) we will crumble under pressure or they just think Conte is a shit coach, anyone that considers Conte as even decent have Inter as favorites and that Conte has no more excuses, he got pretty much anything he wanted and keep in mind that basically every old player he asked because according to him we needed experience to compete has been a complete disaster, Vidal singlehandedly costed us the CL, Kolarov has costed us a couple of matches and Young is just garbage.

He also did his best to get rid of Škriniar and has done everything he can to have Eriksen fail, was he not so incompetent we would only be a top class LWB short of having an amazing starting eleven.

Again he's paid 12 FUCKING MILLION EUROS (the same as the next 6 coaches combined), there are no excuses we must win both the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto.

Haha do you even hear yourself? We must win both coppa and scudetto....yeah ok a team who hasn’t won anything in 10 years must do the double. And if anyone seriously thinks our squad is better than Rube’s than you don’t know shit about football. Ronaldo and De Ligt together have a higher salary than our whole squad combined. We have an experienced coach and they have a rookie coach, that’s played a part in keeping it close. And again with this Conte for everything he asked for? You guys surely aren’t that stupid that you still believe that right? The crisis Suning is in right now tells you everything you need to know about what happened in the last mercato. They pulled the plug after Hakimi, we were so close to finishing the squad and then boom. So we had to finish it with a budget of 5 million. It’s not about making excuses, it’s about facts

I'm pretty sure bookies use more calculation than a bunch of random FIF fans. Most bookies have us as favpurite to win Serie A and that's a fact.

Personally, I do not think bookies ratings count for shit.

We all watch these cunts week in week out. They can win against Juventus one week and bottle it against Udinese three days later or inexplicably lose to Sampdoria. This team is not championship winning material. Maybe if they can go out and beat Juventus and follow it up with another good result then I might think again but 10 years of losing and being Juventus' Bitch is not going to change overnight.

The bookies can suck my cock.

We just made Juve our bitch few weeks ago.

Week ago we created more than them, but unfortunately gifted two goals to them which got them the victory. Total anomalies and not a product of their superior playing. We used our 3-5-2 and made Juve and Pirlo our bitches.

Only thing we need to get better is to cope with the pressure when we make a mistake. Couldn't handle that too well week ago so the first half went to ruin, but in the second half we didn't let Juve play too much (they managed to create that one good chance which Handa saved) and put them in troubles just couldn't finish.

If we play like we did both times and without making the moronic mistakes we made the first time we should win this one.

Tbh, I'm pissed we are in such a bad position though considering how we outplayed them in the second half.

Exactly. We need to get our finishing to better levels. Our basic setup is working just fine. Just need to minimize the bigger mistakes. We ended up doing TWO big mistakes in one half, which was very uncharacteristic of this team from the past 3 months or something.

There is no way our squad is on par or even better than Juves. Their GK is better. Ronaldo, Morata, Dybala, Kulusevski > Lukaku, Lautaro, Sanchez. Our midfield is miles better and while I do fancy our starting back line more than theirs, they have got the depth to replace theirs more than adequately while we have D'Ambrosio, Rano and Kolarov. Fact is only 11 players can be fielded at any given time and we have a completely useless left side game in and game out and having options galore in midfield is not gonna change the fact that we are stuck with Young/Perisic on the left, who offer nothing in attack but a further passing option and some width. Just imagine we had someone on the left in the quality between Hakimi's and Biraghi's like a Marcos Alonso or Alex Telles. This would actually be a great team with even more goals scored (already most goals in the league) while probably keeping about the same number of goals conceded. Thank god for Barella's and Hakimi's exceptional qualities, who are so good that we can get away with having so much focus on the right side in attack.

What we need against Cuadrado the cunt is Nagatomo. That little fucker always raped Cuadrado, both in defense and offense.
