Veron can be one of the best midfielders in the world like he was before he moved to England.I think that he's regaining his form and if does that he can be maybe Inter's best player,team's "leader" on the pitch.
Mancini is playing him on the wings and that's a mistake coz he can't perform very good.He should be allowed to move freely on the pitch and when he moves the all team moves.With his vision and his 'amazing' passes he's Inter's best midfielder for sure

Todays game is just another sample of what he can do.The guy put more players in scoring position this year than any other player,doing it with one touches,many time from beyond the halfway line. :star:

Gazzetta's ratings are not that accurate, they always rate Materazzi and CZ higher no matter what.

To answer your question, NO. He is brilliant at times like today, but mostly he is inconsistent. What are we going to do with him now that he is near the twilight of his career? A midfielder isn't a striker, defender or a goalie that can be still great in his 30's.

We have a player that is as good as him in Stan who should be our CM. We will play classic 4-4-2 with two wingers and a CM -- DM combo. Stan -- Camibasso complement each other well. If we want re-inforcement, we have Pizarro who is at the peak of his career, and better than Veron.

Also, although it's not very severe, I don't want us to be associated with him after seeing him in that Canna tape. He admitted taking that substance, and I just can't stand having more dopers in the team. That's why I was never thrilled with having Davids.

Stan is as good as Veron...Come on Hamed,i dont know if we were watching the same games but Stan is in no way close to Veron this year..and to think u were talking about consistency ?!

The only way Stan is consistent this year is by playing badly.Nothing like last year(i understand the out of position thing but Veron was playing out of position many times too)

Cast feelings aside,Stan has been the underachiever for me this year and i was expecting alot from him...Veron was just another pleasant suprise in really making us create.

exactly pod, people dont understand. They need to have it framed in a certificaite.

Stans dip in form is nothing more then a dip in form, its not because of his position.

At lazio he played LW many times, and he was great there. He played under mancini here at LW and he did great too, he was our leading assister. He really was playin well, its just he dropped if form big time and thats why people now start to blame mancini for not playing him in the middle.

I agree with Pod and helal, Veron and Stan can co-excist. Playing on the wing isn`t a problem for Stankovic. We should definitely kep Veron for next season if we can get him for a suitable price.

extra support i guess. his had bad troubles with that knee this season.

this is the ONLY reason im scared to invest in him next season. Because if u buy him its garunteed every season he will have 1 big injury to keep him out for a month or 2.

At chelsea a back problem was half the season, and at inter it was that very knee for about 2 months.
