10 million euro? No way in hell he is coming here. The sub 20 cup isn't helping matters for us either. Only way we get him is if we give them Duncan+Obi+ another youngster. We don't have the money and the way we try to buy people isn't going to work. I'd love him here with Guarin but the way we are bargin shopping we aren't getting this kid till 2025

Well not quite exactly. Back than the Non-Eu spot went from 2 to 1 and we prefered Coutinho. This case was otherwise. We thought we would sign another non -EU (Lucas, Casemiro, Paulinho,...) instead of Quintero. So basicly, a fail by the management. But whatsoever, he wouldn't develop in here anyway. If Cou can't he surely won't.

Тrue, only one correction. When FIGC changed the rule from 1 non-eu to two non-eu, we ALREADY have wasted that one on Cou. It's not about who we preferred. It was almost done deal with Hernanes when FIGC changed that fucking rule, after they failed on the WC 2010.

I Understand that angle but Inter didn't lose out on Quintero because Pescara won the bidding, thats what I was answering. It was because of the EU rules that Inter pulled out thinking that they were gonna get a non-EU player which in hindsight it was dumb.

It doesn't matter selling. THe rule says that you can buy at most 2 Non-EU per season.

Quintero is from inside Italy, we can sign him without any penalty.

You're allowed to sign any non-EU player from inside Italy without penalty. That's why we've, for example, put Cesar at Chievo, Maxwell at Empoli, Kerlon at Chievo, etc.

We pay them to use up one of their non-EU slots, and then sign them outright from them.
