To all you people criticizing Mou's comments and shit... are you people even remotely aware that we are capable of winning a treble?!!!!!!!!!! This could possibly be our greatest ever season and you people are worrying about the feelings of people who would celebrate if we get relegated to Serie C!!!

Two more wins is all that separates us from ETERNAL bragging rights over Milan and Juve that's what matters. You people seem to have extremely short memories... Think back two years ago to this time, all of Italy were raving about how Inter are chokers and will lose the Scudetto vs Parma on Sunday. Our players came out that Sunday and looked pathetic and tbh had Ibra not come on I think we'd have played for another 90 minutes and not scored... Where are the Inter will choke headlines now?! Two years ago, in fact not even at the beginning of the season could we dream of us being where we are now.. Jose making these comments got us here. And the way I say it, the victories come with the comments and the comments come with the victories. You can't have us being this humble, soft, respectful team because the Italian media would do to us the exact same thing the Roma players did to our on the pitch on Wednesday.

But still guys, you pick what you want.. We can be the pride of Italy (a.l.a. Ranieri's Roma) or the most hated team on the peninsula (a.k.a. Inter). It can't be any other way. I support Jose 100% in his comments against intellectual prostitution!

If the treble is achieved it will be because we capitalised on Calciopoli, etc, etc, etc - that's how our bragging rights will be received by rivals; and as usual it descends into a 'my dad's bigger than your dad' argument, a boring argument.

Jose making these comments got us here.

Supposition. Weak supposition. Would results suffer if he cut out the 'comments'? That's what you're suggesting.

You can't have us being this humble, soft, respectful team because the Italian media would do to us the exact same thing the Roma players did to our on the pitch on Wednesday.

Nobody is asking for humble and soft. However a few people are suggesting our manager, the manager of an iconic club, be less insulting to his peers.

You're correct in saying the media and rivals (or are they the same thing?!? LOL) would still hate us. But my/our club employs Jose, and while he's in that employment I'd like him to behave with more maturity and responsibility. If results suffer because of that, then he's not good enough for us - other managers win trophies too (yes....even European ones) you know.

No other manager has won as many trophies in the last 5 years. Only other manager that comes close is ferguson.

So the suggestion that you can replace him with anyone is farfetched.

Personally I like him giving it to ranieri.;)

For ease, let's say I agree. And let me put it another way -

if he moderates his behaviour would he become a worse manager?

There is no way to know. These things are part of his character and helps him be succesfull. If he can't be himself he wouldn't be as succesfull imho.

Exactly.

I'm a very pragmatic guy and the most important thing is that Mourinho is succeeding in Inter. Whether he's arrogant or belittling his opponents matters less.

Agree.....

Nobody is asking for humble and soft. However a few people are suggesting our manager, the manager of an iconic club, be less insulting to his peers.

You sure that he started this in Italy....."ticking time bombs", "easy to create seige mentality and play", "he hasnt played at the highest level, what does he know about coaching?" . Do all these ring bells or not! To be singled out by the Italian football authorities for punishment....time and again, time and again.....without justification! He outclassed the best team in the world, by not using money but by using a strategy which although other tried, no one succeeded even for one leg, and he beat both Barca and Chelsea, fair and square over the legs! Yet he is abused even by Italian fans! You have Pirlo, who comes out and says that he will support Inter's opposition no matter what! The whole of Italy hates him for trying to mend Balo, and be a team player! But no, fans want Prima donas, and after 1 year of playing this game did fans finally realize that he was trying to mend Balo! He said he does not like intellectutal prostitution and he wont compromise his principles! He has been abused and hated, since the first day he has come to Inter! Be it Ranieri, Ancelotti, that stupid Italian national coach, Cannavaro, this Roma owner! 4-5 of Roma's players should have been sent off, but instead Jose is reprimanded, for speaking the truth! Be in Mou's shoes and then reassess your comments! If he is not being victimised, who is? The fact of the matter is that Mou is better at the mind games than his opposing managers, which have existed well before his arrival! He outclasses then even at this!

Again, look at my above comments! And is it means that you call a spade..a spade..then so be it, I love Mou more for what he represents, rather than his results! Which by the way, not many have achieved, if anyone!

Can you be specific, what do you mean by "worse manager"? Is it in terms of results/motivating players/tactical acumen?

So we just accept an employees naturally beligerent demeanour, because we don't have anyway to know if he can otherwise deliver the goods?

If people are content with that, OK. And the improved performances are nice to experience as a supporter, after so many years of underachievement. The guys dedication is fantastic too.

Personally for me though, I expect our manager (whoever it is) to display the same dignity that Moratti and his board do. I always smile when I see various chairmen in Italy mouthing off ridiculous statements, because our people just exude class. It's just my opinion, but Mourinho takes away some of that.

if he moderates his behaviour he'll quit being a manager.

his behaviour is like a "trademark". Mind games and shit, those sneaky comments he lashes out, it's all part of him.

ever since he was in Leiria, he's been like this. It's in his nature. If you don't like it, well, you're not obligated to like everything about him. Even I feel sometimes Mourinho could have just shut the fuck up, and went about his day. But no, he spoke his mind. Do I hate him more? No. Do I like him more? Maybe. It all depends on the situation. The thing is: he won't just change. The italian football's a bit bitchy with him, but if you look at England, he did the same thing and everyone didn't like him so much. But they didn't hate him. Because they knew one thing: it's part of him. It's a love-hate-love situation, but to finally answear the question: yes, he'd be a worse manager. He'd almost -ALMOST- touch banality.

ps: is it true Mourinho went to Germany to watch the Bayern-Somethingsomething game?

We knew what we were getting when we hired him. He has done this stuff for as longas I can remember.

Basicly what you want is a nice guy type who is the same kind of winner that mou is. Sorry they don't exist. Even Alex Ferguson at times gets on the nerve of fellow managers, players and clubs maybe not to the extent that mou does but its still there.
