I see them as 5 or 6 best team in the league. Same level than Lazio and worst than Inter/Milan/Juve/Napoli.

I didn't watch too many games of Roma this season, but everytime when Matic was on pitch, he was more than decent, including the match against us.
Smalling is also ok for them. The problem are his two colleagues.

In the second half of the season, with the exception of Dybala when fit, Matic has been Roma's best player whenever I've watched them. Not sure how he was in the 1st half, but he's been very good in the second half of the season, especially their European games.

Agree on Smalling as well who is easily their best defender. Ibanez makes mistakes every game and Mancini is a loose cannon who looks on the verge of being red-carded every time I watch him.

When I read your post, I was reminded of Ze Elias who played for us between 1997-1999.

I remember a commentator once referring to Ze Elias as a red card waiting to happen. It's a description of an Inter player that I have never forgotten.

I believe his team is rather shit actually. Always felt like he's been pulling miracles with Roma reaching 2 European finals in a row while keeping them in the top 6.

They didn't get much better this year and most of the signings were quite late.

Last season they started slow as well. What I see problematic is that he keeps bringing average players and want to play them in a formation that even he himself isn't absolutely sure.

Such a shame Dybala is in Roma.
