Jose Mourinho could leave Roma in the summer

Roma are at a substantial risk of losing Jose Mourinho in the summer, with the manager unhappy with the Giallorossi.

Sky Italia recently reported about Mourinho’s dissatisfaction with Tiago Pinto and another report from Sky Italia has provided more information about the situation. It is stated that Mourinho’s discontent is growing at the club and over time, his mood at the Olimpico has changed from being eager to being concerned and unhappy.

The reason for Mourinho’s unhappiness lies in the club’s ambitions and the Friedkins’ failure to comply with the promises they had made when the Portuguese was hired.

Mourinho had been clear about his strategy at the club when he was signing the three-year deal. The first year was aimed at mentality building, the second one was meant to be one of building the foundations to win the Scudetto and the third one was for winning the title.

Mourinho realises that the project has now slowed down. He is happy with Pinto and has an excellent relationship with the players and he isn’t too disturbed about the transfer window activity. His real issue is the club’s planning as he believes that the title can’t be won with younger players such as Edoardo Bove, Benjamin Tahirovic and Cristian Volpato.

He wants the Friedkins to clarify their stance and dissolve any misunderstandings that may have crept up. Roma are thus, at an increasing risk of losing Mourinho in the summer.

Roma is like the guy who bought Ferrari but doesn't have a sustainable account to be able to refill its tank regularly. So were we, when hired Conte.

Clubs like Roma shouldn't hire the likes of Mourinho. Hire an attacking coach that will at least please the fans without too much investment, that's the best they'll ever do.

Watching defensive football without results is the worst possible mix obviously.

For someone who's been considered "finished" by a large number of people in the past 5 years, he does have 2 European trophies in his resume during that time...

You realize that after Napoli and perhaps ourselves, Roma is the most attacking team in the league? They just have shit attackers and cannot convert to save their lives...

yep, watched several matches of Roma this season. They waste chances like nobody else. People moan here that Lautaro is wasteful, they probably didn't watch Abraham. The guy can't hit the target even if his life depends on it.

Please. One of them is the Intertoto Cup or how it's called.

Yet what would you be saying had he failed to win that?

It's still a European trophy and those teams were playing for their lives to win it because it's not every day they have a shot at European glory, whether you rate it or not.
Teams from countries not named England, Spain and Italy would be celebrating that title for days, some even years.

I also thought that Mourinho is finished, but the job he is doing with Roma, it shows that he is still in the game. At least is better than someone like Limone for example.

And still it's a 3rd class competition with teams taking part even football fans haven't heard about it. And he played in it with the Roma and yet they managed to deliver some terrible performances. The only team he faced on "eye height" was Leicester - I think at that some somewhere in the second half of the EPL table.

I also don't call Inzaghi one of the best coaches because he managed to win the Coppa with Lazio. A cup with a harder competition

The statistics demonstrate that the fans love Lord Mourinho, friend.

Mourinho said he was expecting Inter to fight for Scudetto till the end so he's surprised Napoli are so far ahead.

I would take Mou back if it means we replace Inzaghi and 3-backline. Mou would be more flexible with his tactics.

He is a treasure for the game, perhaps its greatest personality. Wish him only the best. Roma should support him and reap the rewards but clubs are often stupid about these things.

Let's admit it, we all expected Inter to fight for Scudetto considering how crap the competition is these days. Napoli has made many changes in their starting line-up by selling their top players, then Milan being garbage as usual and Juve declining. Past couple of seasons in Serie A were never easier to be won, but Limone is a big time choker.
