Honestly, from Sporting I would only take 2 players for Benfica: Joao Mario and Slimani.

But, for more than 20M it is a mistake. You will get a good player, but it is super overpriced.

Easy. For the portuguese league: very good player. For Inter, depends. What are your goals for this season? Middle of the table? Then yes, he's a good player for you. Win the title against the corrupt Juventus? My balls would be a better acquisition.

Dude, he's 23 and he still plays in the portuguese league. Honestly. Look at our best players and how young they left our national championship. Ronaldo 18, Renato 18, Nani 19 or so, André Gomes 19 or 20. If João Mário was good, really really good, he would already be in a big club. He will do ok, but he's no wonderkid. But again, depends of what your goals for this season are. A club like Inter I immagine alays has the ambition of winning the scudetto. With this said, no, João Mário won't be the guy to lead you to a great season. He will be a useful player. No more, no less.

Good player, in the portuguese league Quaresma was better but he flopped in there. Time will tell how JM will adapt to another championship and country, but in Euro 2016 we where expecting more from him and he just didnt shine.
Doesnt worth 40 millions. 25-30 would but a fair price for the deal for a Good player.

Its a team player, the best from sporting but not the best from our league, that title was to Jonas but he is not a young prospect has JM is thank GOD.

All benfica fans in here would like you to take 2 players from Sporting Lisbon

We are sorry for this "invasion", we just saw some Sporting fans saying nonsense and wanted to mess with them a bit here. That's really it.
As for J.Mário, he is a good player, no doubt. He was the best player of Sporting Lisbon along with Slimani and had a good season. However, it might be a risk. He didn't do a very nice Euro campaign, and could struggle in a league like Serie A. And the price is quite high.
So that's my opinion. He's a good player, but the price is way too much.

Mario because of how great he was at the Euros, and I think almost all these guys from both the Sporting side and Benfica side have said he was average or didn't shine at the Euros but is good for Sporting.

Now as I've stated, I barely watched Portugal at the Euros (only against Iceland) so I'm very confused as to why all the Inter fans wanted him if what all these Portuguese fellows have said is true? Did the pro-Mario people just jump on a bandwagon and say how good he is going to be for us, or how good a player he is or how intelligent he is, without even really watching him for Portugal and his apparently average performances? maybe because Inter is eagger for success? for trophies? and that blinds the best of judgements.
