Jeremie Brechet

Jeremie Brechet has signed a four-year contract with Real Sociedad. He leaves Inter after one year and it was a fiasco year. His new adress will be Spain, and it costed Real Sociedad about €3 million.

We wish him the best of luck and hope that he can regain his form that he had with Lyon.

Well I would still have preffered it if Brechet had gone on loan as I still thought he could have done a job for us in the future!
Oh well it means a bit more money for us I guess! :p

Well, I never really understood the point of signing Brechet in the first place, so I won`t miss him. But I guess he still has potential and hopefully he`ll do better at Real than what he did at Inter.

It says(translated by me :scared: )-

Real Sociedad and Inter Milan have reached an agreement to each share 50% for the playing rights of player Jeremie Brechet. This deal between us and the mentioned player will last for the next four seasons.

This is co -ownership deal I guess
Yep, it seems so.

If we sold half of him for about €3 million, then we did a good job.

Great, for a moment I thought we sold him straight off. I still believe that Brechet has potential. He didn't get into the French NT for nothing, its just that he didn't adapt well to the team this time around. Hopefully he can do great in Real Sociedad and maybe come back in the future. Though if we sign Dede and Favalli and Coco is fit then I guess we will eventually sell him anywayz :p

I have difficulties to believe that we have made such a good deal that it´s only a co-ownership for €3 million. There must be some clause in this, and I´m afraid it might have to do with his wages. We might pay 50% of his wages or something.

Seriously doubt Sociedad is THAT stupid that they will pay almost full price for him, but only get half of him.

Well if we pay half of his salary and he turns out great like Farinós did I won´t complain. It´s a gamble, yes.

I think Real Sociedad were desperate to find a LB after DePedro's departure. Not that Brechet is excellent but because his coach is familiar with him. Their coach is french and if i'm not mistaken he's coached Lyon before so he knows Brechet pretty well. I'm happy to know that it's a co-ownership because i didn't give up on this guy.

De Pedro isn´t a left back. He´s an offensive left winger. It´s been Aranzabal who has occupied the left back position for years.

Aranzabal left Real so that`s why they needed a new left back.
