Bayern Munich Ready To Take Up Option To Buy On Inter Owned Ivan Perisic
Bayern Munich appear orientated toward taking up their option to sign Ivan Perisic on a permanent basis according to a report in today’s print edition of German sports newspaper Kicker.
The Croatian national team winger is currently out on loan at the Bavarian club from Inter and it looked like he would be returning to the Nerazzurri come the end of the season but due to facing difficulty in their pursuit of Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, the German giants have had a change of heart about Perisic.
Bayern Munich interim manager Hansi Flick appreciates Perisic’s versatility and it is for this reason that Bayern would appear ready to cough up €20 million to keep the former Borussia Dortmund man at the club past the end of this season.
The 31-year-old is currently out on the sidelines with an ankle injury but has made 22 appearances across all competitions during his spell with the club. In 1200 minutes, he has scored five goals and tallied eight assists.
