The problem with Perisic is that he's all alone there. When he came and wasn't used as a starter all the time he was a good impact sub, because he had something to prove. I still think he has 2 solid seasons in the tank but we need to keep him on alert and make him fear that his position is not his to take home. He's a very good starter in that situation and this is why I want someone like Sansone who is not as good but can do the job in Italy and the coach can trust him. That will make him prove his worth. He's too complacent because his backup was no one actually. Think about it. Who could play AML from our team? Eder? Not really and he was used as a forward. The only other was Candreva whose backup was Karamoh, or probably Cancelo if he was to play further up.

He start perform again when Croatia coach saying he isnt guaranteed place on starting eleven for world cup. Then his performance back into early season god mode. Yep he need some competitor, not names eder obviously..

Another thing is that Perisic doesn't get much fullback support on his side. The 2 players that had the most starts on that side are D'Ambrosio and Santon. Santon is out of breath after 10 minutes and D'Ambrosio is not a left-back.

I think there is near 0% chance he leaves. Spalletti wants him, he is a starter and is playing well, we just qualified for CL and are making some major player acquisitions.

Dafuq people, Perisic and Modric play entire 250++ min on group stages before thats why they look so sluggish tonight. This inter all over again when we had two month drought and people blaming him to not perform while ignoring the fact he never get subbed since we didnt have any backup. Yet people still whining about Politano trf which useful as his backup.

Perisic is just not a clutch player and that missed chance , howsoever unlucky , sums him up perfectly.Good on the Croat coach to take him off immediately and i wish we could do that when he skied one of the sitters/chances that were made for him with his left foot in the 2nd half of last season.Perhaps that immediate sub will wake him up but we couldnt do that last season as he was guaranteed a start and imo that is something that absolutely must change here this season or we will again have a substandard Perisic going through the motions for a few months.Yes his work rate is great but the guy is horrible at finishing off his chances.I am hoping Lautaro Martinez can play out on the wing if Perisic is not sold off.Frustrating player.Very frustrating player.

Dont think its fair to sub a player after they miss a chance, next thing players will stop shooting. He looks slower though. Wouldnt be against his sale

People belittle someone who shoot tons of time like Guarin, or crossing tons of times like Candreva but then forgetting there is player who didnt even try because they afraid to make mistakes.
