Short-sighted move by him going to England definitely.
Not so sure. He is 34, his prime is behind him, and he can't win anything more than he is till now, since, from Inter he can only go to clubs with even fewer chances of winning trophies than Inter. He got 6M€ per year contract in Ttham, which is good money. He still left 1 year of that contract, Ttham don't want him, so he will probably get half of the money he left on his contract and move to Hajduk, enjoying his status there and his life. Playing till 35yo is enough. It's time to enjoy your life.

Going to Hajduk is the best option for him. Only greed can make him go somewhere like Turkey, USA, or Arabia.

let him decide where to play, at what age and how much money. Hajduk, come on. the 90s are long gone.

Spurs was garbage as a whole in last season, so it's not like Perisic has been an issue. I've said that we should not return him considering that Dimarco has managed to step up big time, but seems like we are stuck with Dumfries and Perisic is a versatile when it comes to covering positions in the pitch. Maybe as a short-term solution for a right-wingback position wouldn't be the worst idea ever.

That way we could spare Darmian from that and use him as RCB instead. We'd have extra quality options in defence and wings. But of course as long as it makes sense financially.

But hell no if his return means Dimarco being a bench player.

Perisic would kick ass as a Correa sub and could give rest to DiMarco. Still a fighter, still friends with this squad even without Brozo.

Send this Argentinin newlywed out!!

Perisic-Lukaku and Lauti-Thuram combos.

All for bringing Pero back on a reduced deal if possible. He could really fill in anywhere.

On as a left winger today, Udogie looking good for that lwb/lb spot.

Spurs wish they had Icardi right now

I just came across this and found it funny.
Hajduk fans made a song for Perišić, calling him to come to Hajduk.

I tried to translate lyrics with google translate. The lyrics are something like this:

Perisic, it's time.
What are you waiting for?
That you will come back, bro, you said that.
Where are you stuck? Split is your Mecca.
I'm waiting for "white smoke" to lighten up bbq.
Eureka! Hajduk holy grail.
Go back to the big ones, Tottenham is small.
Be normal, raise the morale of Dalmatia.
A mural is already being made.
Kings in Split, there is lot of them,
I guess you prefer them more then Charles and Camilla.
Come back home, it will be an idyll,
In the middle of the Poljud field
on your forehead when your vein pops out.
From the left wing when you start to shine,
Everyone will sing, call your name:
Perišić killer, crossings dealer,
There will be tons of them, we will all overdose.

Refrain:
And when you come to me, and bring me back my smile,
All the suffering and pain of my life will pass
In sleepless nights, the North calls you to come,
and we will start together to live our dreams.

Perisic, it's time. Say "YES".
And don't ever again put on yourself
Wrong white jersey.
Nothing PES, only Fifa 23,
playing with Hajduk and you are in the team.
And after that, I go to sleep all day
because, in white jersey, you come to my dreams.
And if it becomes java, I won't sleep anymore,
Poljud will be a volcano, Hajduk will be a lava.
Left leg, a gift from God,
accurate cross, powerful on the run.
You collect points, like a fishing boat fish,
You play with great ease.
Come home, enter in the plain,
come to the sun, leave the rain.
You are Tarzan, and Hajduk is your Jane,
Leko is your Conte, and Livaja is your Kane.
Refrain

St. Duje and Emperor Diocletian
both agree, that Ivan should come.
All left and right (political parties), both younger and older,
And grandmothers at the market and at the sand shop.
Grandpa shouts out, from the bench in the shade:
"London is nothing, compared to Split".
Ref

Perisic, it's time.

Knowing his character and work ethic, I have no doubt he'll come back stronger. I wish him speedy recovery. Forza Perisic!
