I'm really touched to hear that Cafè Cordoba, the Colombian captain, has decided not to lead his national team in the upcoming Copa America. This is an extract taken from his latest interview with inter.it:
The Copa America kicks off soon. But you won't play in the competition...
"It's true. It's a decision I made with the national team coach so I can rest a bit and make good pre-season preparations with Inter. This will help me perform better next season, both for Inter and the (Colombian) national team."
I think his decision has gotta do with the fact that we need to play in the qualifying round of the CL. Over the last few days, we have learned 2 Inter players sacrificing their national team career for the club.
Forza e grazie Toldone & Cafè!!!
