Erm... no, we don't agree. Gila works hard for the team, he works well with Toni.

Inzaghi plays only for himself, gives nothing to the team, he should only be used as a sub to close game on the counter.

I agree with Frisko here, Inzaghi can be thrown in when the situation is very critical. I'm not too sure about Totti, I think he's very vital for our attack even if he's not in form, his presence on the field can pull defenders with him and provide more spaces for Toni and Gilardino.

Gila doesn't even come out of the box. And Pippo's finishing is way better, we can't afford to miss chances, cause we won't get many.

Also I don't think we should sacrifice Totti for a tougher midfield, Gattuso and Perrotta should do the defensive job well.

But Pippo missed two very easy chances last game, only scored when the third one came. :(

Either you haven't watched Italy's games so far, or you've been busy doing something while watching them

Lol, and what would that be?

Just compare the goals scored and the minutes played by both of them this season and you'll see who's more effective.

Maybe. And they were not THAT easy.

But look at how many chances Gila missed in the past three games.

I have watched all of Italys game, but I havent watched Gila in them!!. Gilardino is the biggest in the box striker ever, and he is never involved in the build up, and is invisible in most games.
Pippo and Toni should start

DAmn you guys have ruined this whole pre-game experience and talk for us with all this arguing about little matters. The coach will make his choice, and that is all.

Today ITALIA win Australia with 2:0 result. In whole match it is going to be interesting some duels with Materazzi and Viduka(two strong players)

Make it a month, infact make it 2. So basically, whose team loses doesn't show his face on this forum for 2 months, starting on june 27-12am(Eastern Canadian time), go figure out what the hell is that in Aussie time. I dont want you to get banned immediatly after the watch. Ofcourse I wanna read your comments, after you guys get bashed 4-0.

F*CK LIPPI. Once again he goes with the stupid USA lineup. Expect no pace from Italy, and long balls. I hope Delpiero and Pettrotta both get injured very soon

We have played much better than them Aussie cunts the only thing is we don't have a goal to show for it. If we can play the same in the 2nd half and improve our finishing a little then I have no doubt this game is ours to win.

Materazzi is doing so far so good while Perrotta constantly impresses me with his energetic runs. Toni has been doing some nice play and has been unlucky not to score.

AVANTI!

Fabio :star:

EDIT: Ally McCoist talking about Materazzi being the best player in the first half!

Actually, Materazzi was the best Italian player in the 1st half..Didn't even make a single foul..

I expect Lippi will put Totti in instead of Del Piero..I like both teams, however Italy is better and I expect them to win..
