frosinone is a horrible defensive team and they play open football... this was to be expected... i also don't think they will stay in serie A for long, as this system with loaning 14 players is pretty crazy... Sorry but your last point makes no sense. It's exactly Frosinone's environment and style of play that made Soule shine as he does these days. We don't know whether he would be as competitive as he is, had he played at gobbi. I agree that they're lacking discpline defensively, but it takes time to adapt a proper scheme under a new coach. Di Francesco has only been around for less than a year.

Yeah, but I have a feeling di francesco and the whole crop of this new age italian coaches don't even have a properly working defensive scheme for their team to adapt to. They live and die on their so-called attacking setup. The same goes with inzaghi and salernitana, italiano with fiorentina...every time I watch their matches, defensive setups are naive as fuck, and it goes beyond just blaming it on the quality of players. I have a feeling some of them are offensive just for the sake of it, or because they know attacking coaches are currently more in demand, so it's easier for them to find another job when they get sacked.

Precisely. It's not constructive to always bash on the team which is supposedly a favourite in a match if that favourite then doesn't win the match. That's the general approach everywhere and it sucks. The league is not bad because the most of the minor teams can still play, score against better ones and so on. Standings of course tell the story of which team is consistently better than others but surprises are always welcome.

That Lecce-Fiorentina end was great. Fiorentina and Italiano probably learnt a thing or two from that ending of the match.

the fact that roma could be still 1 point from fourth after tomorrow just shows how bad Serie A is getting. And thats why winning today is important. Inter and Juve can beat everyone on paper. Sure they will still lose some points but there will be no one doing less then 80 points if both continues playing like they do, there are no difficult games.
