Napoli and Milan have easy tasks this weekend. Both playing against teams that haven't won a single match yet. Miracles do happen but I'm not expecting any favours from Udinese and Salernitana. Maybe the only thing that could make Milan crumble is our eventual win, that could put pressure on Milan, but even with that, I don't think Milan will let it slip.

Hopefully Gobbi fails to win in Artemio Franchi though.

Well, that's all understandable, that's the point of the league system. It's not like I want us losing points against them, we also have good results against them overall in the past few seasons.

I'm just saying, they were one of those teams I expect to be a total nuisance, especially now that they have a lot of new, younger players. It's still just 10 games so far, we have a 8-1-1 record. If we continue on this course and finish with a 30-4-4 record, that's a Scudetto dub for us 90%.

Bes' point is that this tough period of games could push that average you talk about down. We're only 10 games into the season. Your extrapolation would be more accurate in January, or whenever we hit the return games. For example, I reckon if we come out of this period with maximum points, we are absolute morals for the title.

All things being said, I predict a 0-4 win because I'm drinking all Saturday

Well I predicted that the best scenario is that we won't get full points in at least 10 games, probably 12 games. The result in the Sassuolo game was expected, the Bologna wasn't, but winning 5-1 Milan wasn't either. I was also scared of Fiorentina and we outclassed them. So far so good on that part.

I think we are all fixated on not losing points to Atalanta because the Juve game comes soon after and we are the worst team ever against Juventus. There is no way we win against Juve. We have to be mindful that a lot of these teams we are scared of also play eachother. I don't see a dominant team this season as much as Napoli dominated last season.

Who is first right now doesn't matter, it's the later part of the season when the first team starts to set the pace. So if Atalanta are going to play as good as they seem, I'm not going to go to full panic mode if we don't win the game. Yeah, the upcoming games we have are going to suck because of the difficulty, but it can work into our favor if we play slowly, more on the defensive - at least against Atalanta, Napoli and soon, Benfica. As long as we don't lose these 3 games, win all the minnows, I think we can still be 1st when we play Lazio mid december and also go through in CL.


That's the plan right now. I think we have a somewhat easier second half of the season, regardless of how much time we will spend in CL and Coppa Italia.

I didn't really talk about the Juventus game, because that will be a clusterfuck no matter how well we prepare for it. We might win it, but, meh.

That reminds me when Juve won the league and it looked a lot closer than it actually was.

Our players will go on the pitch and try to win all the games. The bad thing is that most of the other teams will try to do the same. I know, duuhhhh.
Bad games happen. Bad mistakes happen. Injuries happen. The team with the best defence has the highest chance to win in the end. Also, something we are the best at right now (with Juve close by with 1 more goal conceded).

I'm very confident that if we don't lose against Atalanta and Napoli, that we will still be first when the Lazio game comes. Us not leaking goals makes for a different, more confident Inter, compared to last season.

Also there is something about Inzaghi being quite efficient in the last quarter of the season. I believe we can win the Scudetto, but more because other teams aren't really better than us than because we are so dominant. As long as we don't lose our cool, this is a pretty great start to a season.

Also, I'm putting trust in Fiorentina being a menace to Juventus. Just you wait
