Honestly, at this point Inzaghi doesn't have any chance against this 1-0 of Allegri. That will end just like with Milan two seasons ago, where we were better team, we had better stats and at the end they won the scudetto.
Well, if rube manage to prevail away games against us, Napoli, Lazio, Roma, Bologna and against beelan at home, then fuck it, they gonna deserve that scudetto, what you gonna do.

Just few months ago everyone was making fun of Allegri here. Well, there you go.

I think, at this point and considering our injury crisis, I'd send the primavera to this dumbass Supercup. Can't be dealing with Hakan getting injured at the 94th against Lazio for something meaningless.

just sacrifice the CL and win the second star. we got this in our hands, don't fuck this up advancing far in CL with this thin squad

I really think Juventus is the favorite as things stand RIGHT NOW. Just watching the way the matches have played out and knowing the squads and schedules I would give them a very slight advantage. That can change after January transfer window and depending on what happens in CL. We’ve honestly done well to have the lead we do while playing 7 more matches.

The primary reason I’d give them the edge, outside of the obvious lack of European Football is Allegri. He has experience winning the league and I think that means something to his players (and probably ours). Also, Inzaghi seems at least to me to be lacking something in terms of ruthlessness still. He’s a nice guy, and the lack of discipline does pop up from time to time (Barella).

We have been dominate in a lot of matches this year, however we have really struggled in tight matches. Everytime a team has equalized against us this year we have drawn or lost. We don’t have any reaction to turn a result, we’ve only really shown an ability to run downhill.

I think a lot of that comes down to lack of a game changer off the bench on the forward line. Arnautovic is playing better but he should really be a 4th choice player at a team like Inter. I do question, if we didn’t buy Pavard and ended up with legitimate 3rd option at the striker position (Balogun, Scamacca, Taremi) would we be in a better position today?

I feel the same. That's not to say we don't have a chance.

On paper, we may actually have an 'easier' schedule left and do have a 2 point lead, while Juventus have the advantage of a more well-rested team. Our home match with them may be key.

For the most part, we've done fairly well. We have 14 wins and 3 draws from 18 games, which I assume is probably close to being on par with some of the highest point winning Scudetto sides.

It's probably better for us that Juventus goes all the way to the Coppa final as well to have some extra midweek games.

The Supercoppa is a bit annoying to me as it's a long trip that's not ideal. The only ok thing about it is that our next league match would be against a team that's also part of the Supercoppa.

Agreed. Us having to travel and potentially play two additional matches is just extra icing on the cake.

can't say that you guys are wrong but let´s please not forget how lucky Juve are in most games. We dominated the opponents in most of our wins and did deserve to win. Juve is exactly the opposite. Last minute wins, close 1-0 wins..still deserves to be there compared to Milan and other teams, but only -2 from Inter is a joke man. Like i alrready said, they are simliar to the Mancini 2.0 Inter, maybe just with some better players.

Same with milan pioli fluke scudetto, they always win 1 0 and we have radu brainfart.
PTSD is real

That was a bit different. I think Milan had a good run defensively at the end of that season, but they weren't like that throughout the year. They had seven 1-0 wins, and more than half of them came in the last 10 matches. They finished off strongly with 9 clean sheets in the last 11 matches. They had 9 clean sheets in the previous 27 matches.

The most interesting thing about this season so far is how much our and Juventus' results mirror each other.

Both of us have:
- drawn each other
- drew against Bologna
- drew against Genoa
- lost against Sassuolo

The only difference is that we beat Atalanta away from home, while they drew that game.

I think we can do both this year. We are out of Coppa. The next CL game is in 1.5 month. We should be able to get the results against Verona Fiorentina, Monza, Fiorentina, Juve, Roma and Salernitana before the home game against Atletico on Feb. 20

They are not lucky, this is just a way they play. They take a lead and then they defend brutally. Only Inter and Genoa managed to equalize and mantain positive result (I am not gonna count start of the season) against them. Just look when they conceide goal how they imediately start attacking and scoring another goal, to win a game. Thats not luck, thats the way they play plus they have that rube winning mentality, that we always lack. I think this team has a much more quality than Mancini Inter, they are not comparable. 10 wins, 3 draws in last three months, and no defeat(since Sassuolo game). It cant be luck, no way.

No similarities between this season and Milan's Scudetto imo. In 2021/22 you had two very inconsistent teams that had some highs but also were dropping points left and right throughout the season. In the end it was a matter of who choked less.

This season you have two strong and consistent teams that barely drop points. If neither of them drops off in second round it could go down to head to head.

Never forget the 200€ i lost in Inter-Barça semifinals of 2010.

I would add that up until now Juve's 140M€ strikeforce Chiesa- Vlahovic have been criminally uneffective. They scored more at the start, but have been carried by defenders and mid goals the last 3 months. Yet they are only 2pts behind. What if they still go for Koopmeiners ( unrealistic in January, but they've splashed before when the opportunity rises. Vlahovic in January) they could get that attacking midfield glue with strikers. We could face even more bigger threath then. For Koopmeiners they need to cash in on Soule and Illing that would be 40M€ and add 10-15M€ more for January tax. They'd find that with no problems for a scudetto fight. Those 2 are never gonna be Juve regulars anyway so selling is the easiest choice.

We need to find a striker , on loan, there is no doubt.

That is what I am afraid the most. They will bring more reinforcements in January mercato. They will be stronger. Idk why we are not trying to get some proper striker. New rwb is not enough.
