They can appeal again.
but i think the technical parts of their appeal to whether a punishment was fair or not was not accepted, and it was just the magnitude of the -15?

That's what the media says, that they're found guilty and only the amount of points deducted remains a question, now, let's see if they can lower the points docked yet again. They say it's unlikely, but who knows.

Ten point deduction puts them on 59 points. Five behind Milan with a game in hand (which they're about to play) and a head-to-head vs. Milan vs. next week.

Which means, deduction or not, they could still qualify for the Champions League anyway, it's entirely in their control if they win their games.

Maybe I shouldn't bitch too much about it. This will give them reason to play Milan hard, and if there's points dropped in that game, it only helps us. They might've taken the foot off the gas if either they were secured in top-4 or were too many points behind to make it up. As it is, that game will have meaning (unless they lose points tonight).

Not that any of this really matters. I have no reason to think this penalty won't be overturned either.
They can't qualify for CL. At best they will have 68 points, not enough.

68 points is enough to qualify atm. Milan 4th on 64... and they have a h2h game vs Juve

if they draw this one or lose, then the game is over. At best they can get 6 points from 2 games, that will make 65-66 points.

yes, if they lose to empoli then lights out basically, but you said at best 68 points wont be enough - mathematically, 68 points gives them a chance of making the CL. If milan lose to Juve, Juve beat Empoli, then its down to the wire.

of course in practice juve shit the bed, but tbh, even if Milan lose to Juve and then their last game and Juve win the last game, Juve will be on 65 and could still do it.

Milan should be in UCL now. Better Pioli is on fire than Rubentus tbh.

Obv would like Atalanta to get there over Milan, but it is what it is.

So you are telling me some of us over reacted for nothing yesterday?

It was okay to overreact regarding Gagliardini's stupidity or Correa's uselessness but Inter's defeat wasn't shocking at all. We fielded a terrible line-up, so it would have been a miracle had we snatched a point or three with that line-up selection.

Besides, top4 would still be in our hand since we'd have to win at home and get at least a point against Torino away from home. I think Limone was already up for it.
