Sassuolo game got canceled, which means, their first game after their owners death is against us...which means..yup. Not good!

(1) Spalletti got all the players he asked for, Nainggolan, Borja, Vecino, Dalbert etc

(2) We made CL with luck

(3) He did "fix" Brozovic, he also ruined Gagliardini (Conte will save him)

(4) Pioli is a much better coach

agree except for bolded part

I wonder... The years before Spalletti that we failed to reach CL, was it because we were unlucky?

reminds me of 4-5 years ago where the Atalanta president died and we lost 4-3 against them with Rannochia missing a incredibile open goal at the last chance of the game. They said it was the ghost of the president that changed the direction off the ball. Good excuse to defend Rannochias incredibile skills :einstein:

Spalletti was fine. By and large, he did his job to bring us to consecutive CL qualifications.

No need for more of the legendary thought-provoking journalism brehme questions just because a very small number of people have an arguably errant opinion.

some coaches weren't provided with the players they wanted to build a team around (Benitez), some of them had the players they wanted (Mancini) but couldn't come up with something. Others were simply just not good enough to coach a CL team.

Why? are you denying the fact that we won the CL spots (especially this year's) because we were lucky?

I'm not saying there wasn't a luck factor, but remaining in contention for those spots was not down to luck. Some final details had a significant luck factor involved (ie Crotone keeping Lazio winless so that we had our chance to beat them) but I could equally say that we were unlucky during both seasons:

1) Referee screwed us in like 3 Juventus games out of 4.
2) We had a clear Icardi goal disallowed in the Milan derby that ended 0-0.
3) We lost points due to refs vs Parma, Sassuolo and other small teams.

There's much more details that went the wrong way and results that changed due to external factors. Just because game 37 and 38 went our way (despite a home Sassuolo loss in 2018 and an away Napoli loss in 2019) doesn't mean "we were lucky to reach Champions League".

If anything, if we had the luck y'all claiming we had, we'd be nearer the 2nd spot than barely grabbing that 4th spot.

Zappacosta tore his ACL. Absolute state of Roma and the amount of injuries their players get, yet their medical staff remains employed.

No one expected from Spalletti to earn 90 points or something like that (I am not saying you said that). Only thing he had to do is to secure the spot 3-4 matchdays before the season ends. In his first season, he knew the calendar, that the toughest matches are going to be played close to the end of the season, why the fuck were you losing points left and right against shitclubs? because the players he wanted were flops. There were referees, bu we also played like shit. Had we not signed Rafinha and had he not started playing Cancelo rest assured we would have missed out on the spot. Last season was totally down to a pure luck and complete shithousery of the rivals. Half of the season been wasted due to Radja being alcoholic and Icardi vs Balkan clan midseason thriller, all these happened because Spalletti lacks man management. His brother was dying, sorry for his loss. But in this case you should have resigned. He didn't, probably because his brother's illness wasn't affecting his job much.

Who else is watching Pinamonti sending Bbilan to relegation spots?

GP fields Biglia, Duarte and Leao on the bench.

Hoping Genoa can pile more misery on Milan. I want some big performances from our boys Pinamonti, Radu and Go-Go Goran.

Looking at Milans starting eleven, particularly the midfield, looks really bad. Kuzmanovic level midfield.
