Apparently, Dutch club is pissed off cause of Roma's failed attempt to buy Ziyech. They were ready to sell him, but Monchi and Roma weren't confident in Ziyech.

According to TMW, Fonseca has doubts about joining Roma as he isn't entirely convinced about Roma project and his family is settled in Ukraine. They're now linked with De Zerbi and Di Biagio. Imagine going from Mourinho and Conte to Gigi Di Biagio

de zerbi is a good coach overall, but has never coached an important team. he could be a success or a bust.

di biagio, as much as it pains me to say this cause he's a former interista, is mediocre, at best.

Roma should never have sacked EDF. That's Roma though. It's hard to judge from the outside but I still can't tell whether Palotta wants to turn Roma into a legitimate title contender, or whether he's happy being top 5.

And while I don't really care for Fiorentina, much less the Della Valle's, I'm not sure what I think about their sale to Rocco Commisso.

Commisso is a die hard Rubentino. Expect a Sassuolo-Rube like love between new Fiorentina and Agnelli. And when we want a player to buy, its gonna be +40% compared to Rube.

As for Roma. It remains to be seen with this Fonseca. Attacking 4231, this suits them well. How much Pallotta will put up for transfers. They need a great CF and CB to fight for top4.

Chelsea change minds on Sarri?
By Football Italia staff

Maurizio Sarri’s agent is in Italy, but it’s reported Chelsea promised not to charge Juventus compensation and have changed their minds.

The tactician’s agent, Fali Ramadani, was spotted in Milan this evening by Sportitalia, having spent several days negotiating with Chelsea in London.

Sky Sport Italia claim that Chelsea pledged six weeks ago to let Sarri leave without Juventus paying compensation, but have now changed their minds.

Ramadani wants them to stand by that promise, as Sarri never caused problems for the club throughout the season and would walk away with the Europa League and Champions League qualification.

Sportitalia also state that the issue is going to be delayed by a few more days, but are confident the deal will be done on Friday or Saturday.

Juve director of sport Fabio Paratici said today that there was not just one choice to replace Max Allegri in Turin.

“There is a range of Coaches we are evaluating,” director of sport Paratici told reporters at the Football Leader 2019 event.

“We have clear ideas and are working on it. There’s no time limit on a decision, it’ll take a little while, then you’ll know the new Coach.”

Meanwhile, Sarri confessed to feeling homesick and wanting a return to Italy.

CFCB Adjudicatory Chamber issues procedural order to suspend proceedings against AC Milan
Wednesday 5 June 2019

The suspension of the proceedings will remain in place until after the issuance of the award in the ongoing CAS case.

The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) Adjudicatory Chamber has issued a procedural order suspending the proceedings against AC Milan regarding its failure to comply with the break-even requirement during the current monitoring period assessed in the 2018/19 season and covering the reporting periods ending in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The suspension of the proceedings will remain in place until after the issuance of the award in the ongoing CAS proceedings dealing with the sanction imposed on the club for failing to comply with the break-even requirement for the reporting periods ending in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Oh look, Milan beginning their worming already. Apparently UEFA wants them to have their books in order by 2021, but Elliott is asking for 5 years  just give them 20 and be done with it.

Would be nice if they finally qualify for CL and they then get slapped with a ban in Europe

if rubentus ends up with sarri, whose system usually takes a few months to be properly implemented, a window of opportunity opens for us and also for napoli.

Transfer Guru
Rocco Commisso has completed his acquisition of Fiorentina for €170m. This guy is serious, he owns Mediacom and is worth over $4billion. He also owns New York Cosmos and is the same guy who tried to buy Milan from Li. So clearly he has the money, appetite and the intent to spend big in football. Fiorentina might become ambitious from now on, another challenger for the CL spot. I can see Spalletti going there and getting a decent transfer budget.

Unfortunately Rocco is also an hardcore childhood Juventus fan, a big friend of the Agnelli family. So I guess we can forget about Chiesa as another Serie A club falls over to the dark side.

I actually think it's on the contrary. He will use Viola as a business project which will probably invest in youngsters and sell them for lots of money. That way he will make profit and grow his name even more from what is now. I do agree that Viola might become ambitious but I doubt ambitious enough to win trophies.

Just because rich people take over teams, doesn't automatically means they will win trophies. Football is beyond business nowadays.

he's 69. i don't think he's aiming for economical gain or "growth", at that age imho he just wants to enjoy the shitloads of money he made working all of his life.

Yeah not so worried about him turning Fiorentina into a CL contender. More worried about him turning Fiorentina into a feeder club for Juve.
