As a Yankee across the pond, can you tell me a bit about the Italian rocker Zucchero? My uncle really loved him, but the family always made fun of him. :howler:

Though, if people love the folk songs, listen to Modena City Rambler's version of Bella Ciao. They spice up a classic and the music makes you want to go grab a worthy cause to fight for!

Ol' Sugar Daddy could have every drug imaginable running through his veins, but people with creative genius have priviliages that ALLOW them to behave badly. As long as Zuc keeps integrity at every cost and his lifestyle does not interfere with his music, I have no complaints.

As for things I like, Ivana Spagna and Anna Oxa aren't bad, Irene Grandi is very good.

Fris , my friend , I love with so much passion italian language and music and i haven't heard new songs cz i don't have a guide like before (italian girl i used to know ) So... My fav. is Eros ramazotti , laura pausini and i hate nek , bocceli , i don't like the classics at all but i recall some song by paola e chiara was great ...So guide me man , my favourite songs are fuoco nel fuoco , musica (old) , rainbow by elissa , se fue by laura you know this is my style not hip hop rubbish . who shall i listen to in your opinion ...also if there is italian trance , i would so much like it .

Hey Mido, hmm well Ramazzotti is surely good, and Paola e Chiara weren't bad, you're right.

You should try Ligabue, Irene Grandi, Zucchero and Elisa (pipes and flowers is a great album). Let me know!
