10 years of FIFI swear everytime Macedonia tryed something, my mind was like: yeah it's over now, see... before he was shooting i already was mentaly prepared to get fucked in some second, it was in the air, i knew that it could happend even if they don't had much opportunities...Hey mate! Im wondering if this ever happend that the Euro cup winner misses the World cup and how many times it happend. Normally it should be like the europa league, if you win the tournament you are qualifed for the CL. But we anyway don't deserve it, loosing to North Macedonia is really ridiciolous, Sweden was not that bad if we compare them with North Macedonia.. in 4 years we will probably miss the WC against Malta or something like that

Yep, that's the majority of the problem right there. I think people in italian fa are mentally stuck in late 90 early 00 when they were still trying to compete with leagues in spain and england. That's why you have that kind of strange pressure of playing older players instead giving chance to youngsters. Too much of a pragmatical approach without contemplating about future, imo.
In reality that ship sailed long ago, the best thing to do now is to accept the fate and turn to yourself similar to what germany and bundesliga did.
Forget about instant results and competing to be top two or three leagues in europe, just concentrate on giving chances to younger players.
I was in Greece when you won the Euros, the atmosphere was unforgettable.

Issue with Italy is they don't give Italians a shot in the league. Its the issue with alot of Big euro leagues other than Germany. Until they start giving more Italian players a shot this kind of BS is going to continue to happen.

10 years of FIFthats true.. problem is we are not grece or denmark. For them it's accetable to miss WC, even as EC winner. For Italy no, specialy not 2 in a row, its embrassing.
I still can't believe it honestly. Some week ago i was thinking about that Italy who could not pass the group with New zeeland Paraguay and Slovakia.. can't believe that we are still doing this bad now, and are getting elimnated from fucking Macedonia. The whole world is laughing at us.
