He never plays. The age was not an argument for the mistake.

Player never playing and then called up to start few hours before the kickoff is not easy. It might be easier for seasoned veteran who actually HAS played consistently but then later in his career got downgraded to backup role. Radu hasn't really played consistently, he played in Genoa in 19/20, 17 games. That's two years ago.

He doesn't have the routines, he doesn't have the touch to real game (speed, mental). That's a terrible mistake, that should never happen but that has surely happened before. To much better keepers, first keepers etc.

Enough with the personal insult folks. There will be (and should be) professional consequences to Radu's mistakes. But your incessant threat isn't one.

But what I still don't understand is the attitude he approaches his game. Both Radu and Dimarco come from our ranks. Dimarco is a limited player. But every time he plays, you see the hunger in his eyes. He's shaky and inexperienced - yes. But he'll try to run extra and he genuinely cares. You could also tell how he's beyond grateful for the opportunity to play for Inter in his interviews.

Then when you see Radu's interviews or training videos, he looks a lot less serious. Honestly he sometimes gives the vibe of a crypto wunderkind or TikTok influencer. And this is the reason why he might not succeed in the long run even outside Inter.

Humility is critical to success on the highest level. Dumfries is a great testimony of that (then you have Gabigol and Esposito on the opposite end of the spectrum). I wish Radu well as a person. But it's his attitude that needs to change, and more playing time alone won't fix that.

I don't think there's a scenario I dread more than us ending tied on points with Milan and losing the Scudetto via tiebreaker.
