When I was in China for a shorter period I had to use proxies for youtube, mail, facebook ect. I thereoften just kept being logged on in the GoAgent addon (a proxy finding thing) that I used for other websites aswell. I don't think FIF is blocked in China but keep logging in and out can be annoying. Using a proxy can therefore in specific cases make sense considering China, North Korea ect.

He was always using opera mini proxy. A common browser add-on with opera I'm assuming as I know others have used it at times because his IP matched other users sometimes. I counted 4 different users, but with those other users it was clear that they all had a typical IP address at times as well. While every-time VIP logged in it was with the proxy. Typically using the same proxy server(a swiss one) every time, but also once from Wichita in Kansas.

This coupled with his harrassing/trolling. And the fact that he seemed to me like it was the second account of someone made me decide to ban him.

In the adult thread there was a newcomer that was "bulling"(dont know how i should call this) because Wera said that some Japanese You tuber was fat. This guy had only one post and i think it was a new member, i dont remeber. This happend again if i dont mind with a new user. And now again with this VIP guy.

No, I've been suspicious of VIP for a while, but I was waiting for the other mods to say something. Would I like wera back? Sure, but personally I feel he's being a big girl about this whole situation. Plus this isn't the first time wera has disappeared from the forum, and I'm sure it's not the last.

So yeah, no. It is the fact that I feel VIP is a secondary account.

Some proof of my ongoing suspicions:

I couldn't even ignore people if I wanted to because the whole "moderator" thing

Also, since when is a secondary troll account a flimsy reason to ban someone?

They were using a proxy. So your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps someone who doesn't like wera. I4E's suggestion that it was actually wera is even possible.

So highly suspicious troll accounts that are using proxies from their inception should not be banned until they're kind enough to tell the mods who they are? Is that what you're saying?

Define troll account. There are plenty of members around here who have similar posts/style to certified interista VIP, and given the examples _OC_ referenced on the previous page, the business with wera is clearly not enough to merit a ban on FIF.

I don't know or care who VIP is, but who would actually go to the trouble of using these methods just to troll on forza inter forums? Didn't know simply using proxies was enough to be banned either.

Cal is right. The proof of banning vip isn't enough. Just because someone is using proxy or whatever and is someone's secondary account doesn't mean you should ban him. I read the FIF RULES and this is what I saw:

I can't find 'do not use proxy' and 'do not be someone secondary account' in the rules.
Shaun, stop fooling anyone here, just admit that you wanted wera back that's why you banned VIP because you don't want to loose podcasts or whatever shit it is.

second account bans have always been part of it tbh. I dont know where it is in the rules but otherwise it'd be stupid, you'd just use a second account to get around any infraction/bans that you have
