Inter is currently reviewing its legal position in regards to comments made by ex-referee selector Paolo Bergamo.

The designator allegedly alluded that he was "intercepted and spied upon on behalf of Inter".

The Nerazzurri have taken a serious stance on these allegations, and have released an official statement on their official website, Inter.it, in regards to the matter.

"On the statements of Mr. Paolo Bergamo," the statement said.

"As reported by certain newspapers repeating the pronounced phrases by the ex-referee selector during a television transmission. F.C Internazionale will reserve all legal action, to protect the name and image of the society.

"The Nerazzurro club is not only completely surprised by such allegations from Mr. Bergamo, but is no way involved in the proceeding with which he is referring to," the statament summed up.
