Our formation seems to be something like this...



But from what I've seen,it changes significantly when attacking...



Did anyone else notice this or am I imagining things? The weirdest thing for me is Motta going right all the time...

is it me or is it the common theme in all football teams to play in regards to where the ball is on the pitch....thus the team is never in a constant formation and it depends on where the ball is in relation to who has possesion.

look its pretty simple, all managers have a set formation that they go out with, but its never stagnant. like i have already said, depending on where the ball is or isnt and who has possesion of it, formations always change. this can be seen from your picassos in your first post....
