We need to find players on which we can apply growth decree. It can significantly reduce salaries.
Btw. I don't think
  • Marcus Thuram – €6m net (€11.1m gross)
this is correct. His gross should be lower.

a football player whom can apply growth decree means literally serie a newbie and i don't think Inzaghi and Marotta will allow it.

I haven't put ketchup on anything in at least a decade and that's not going to change any time soon. Ditto mustard. Condiments in general are gross and also bad for your health.
Ketchup is disgusting. Relish, though

Yeah I guess Thuram, Klassen, Pavard, Sommer, Bisseck are all very experienced Serie A players

We did pretty well this summer financially. Total cost of the squad (amortizations + salaries) went down for 27m as per Calcio e Finanza. From 214m to 187m.

most of them are secondary options, panic buying beside serie a targets missed. (Maxime Lopez, Vicario, Pirola, Umtiti etc)

Because it's impossible to be financially healthy while competing for titles under our current revenue structure. Unless our debt is magically erased (ala Milan).
Ish. The debt structure is less than a third of our loss for 21-22. So you're right, but it's like we have five big holes in the ship and we decide it'll be seaworthy if we fix one of them

In reality, our squad just costs too much for the revenue we make. Everything else is a symptom, not the root cause.

Really (sadly) e need to improve everything. We need better revenues eg commercial (this will improve with an actual sponsor who pays us this year), we need consistent R16/QF revenues, we need to reduce our wages, we need to reduce our squad cost, we need to wipe out the debt

I'm still happy we are not doing "enough". Or, we are doing it gradually, step by step. I rather watch us fight for titles and get to CL final than watch selling our core players and build from the start like Milan did. We are not in a lucky position Milan was where they managed to sneak to a Scudetto, it would take many years since the competition is much better now.

And indeed, we don't have their ownership who can just wipe off the debt.

to get Inter back to a healthy, financial sustainability position... Inter literally must be changing ownership to a new owner. because what the current ownership aka Zhang family are doing so far only add more debt to Inter, making financial obligation sounds more bigger every single day. scam sponsorship (Digitalshits), fake sponsorship from Suning and fake china companies.

Yea…. Bastoni is being crazy over paid for his age when compared to the other rosters. More of panic move after Skriniar.

Barella will get a contract extension to be paid in line with the top earners or he will be sold. Him making less than Bastoni is kind of laughable. Dimarco as well will get a pay bump.

Wages wise we have a lot of guys on 1 year deals. De Vrij contract renewal for same wages was just awful awful panic move considering he was shit last season

Mkhit is on real high wages but was a free agent and his contract is ending maybe resigning him to a 1 year deal on lower wages depending on Fratessi who was signed on a huge premium because they think he will be a starter for 5+ seasons but comparing his wages to the other teams def looks like we are over paying especially if he turns to shit

Milan has a bunch of prospects on pretty high wages. With other players who will require contract bumps

Mhkitaryan is not on real high wage. He has growth decree in his help. He's our starting player so I'd say it's almost quite cheap.

The 'wages too high' and 'panic re-signing' argument isn't the full story though - we had little to no money to pay transfer fees and so its really hard to move on from older players with high wages because your hands are tied. Take SDV for example - if we had even $15-20mm to replace him with a younger player, we would have done that and paid that player lower wages. But when you don't have money for transfers, you end up overpaying older players to stick around for another year or two.
