Translated from CalcioMercato: The international rating agency Fitch confirmed with an official note reported by Calcio & Finanza that it had removed the 375 million euro bond issued by Inter from the Rating Watch Negative, also reiterating that there will be no downgrade of the rating which will therefore remain BB-

THE NOTE - "The confirmation of the rating and the removal of the rating from RWN follows the receipt by FC Internazionale Milano SpA of a shareholders' loan, which resolves the club's liquidity risks. This transaction is financed through the proceeds of a shareholder financing package, which is outside the scope of our rating analysis. The shareholder loan has been injected into the club in a similar way to what has been done previously, as the club has historically received strong support from its shareholders ”.

STABLE CASH FLOW - "The removal from the RWN reflects the stabilization of Inter's cash flow despite the high player salaries and the stress on revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic. The club is now able to fulfill its obligations in the next few years, but it is expected to continue to be negative for free cash flow (FCF). The negative outlook reflects the uncertainties about Inter's ability to lower players' salaries to a sustainable level. Given the shrunken player transfer market due to the pandemic. In addition, uncertainty remains regarding the future participation of fans in the stadium and the renewal of some sponsorship contracts, as well as continuing difficulties in raising revenue from Asian sponsorship partners. The maturity of the Inter Media bond in December 2022 also represents an imminent refinancing risk given the financial pressures the club is facing."

THE OAKTREE LOAN - "It will probably be split between the current 2020/2021 football season and the subsequent 2021/2022. The club will use 70% of the available funds to maintain an adequate level of liquidity at consolidated level. This translates into an improvement in net debt. / EBITDA, below our negative share of 6.5x from 2023. However, uncertainties remain as the use of the facility could depend on Inter's ability and willingness to generate net positive revenue from player trading, ability to reduce salaries and the opportunity to collect revenue from Asian sponsorships pending to date."

Inter Have Followed FIGC Rules & Paid Player Wages For March To May, Italian Media Reports

Inter have paid out outstanding player wages from the months of March to May, totalling around €45 million.

This according to Milan-based Gazzetta dello Sport reported via FcInterNews, who report that the club have met the deadline for payment set by the FIGC.

The payment of outstanding wages has been among the major financial problems faced by the Nerazzurri, but the club plan to follow a strict agenda in order to meet the deadlines set, as part of a broader plan for financial stabilization at the club.

The club received a significant loan from American fund Oaktree Capital, and have been putting it towards the payment of wages among other expenses, and look to be on track to keep up with their obligations.

With player wages up to the month of May all paid out, all that is left for the club from last season’s obligations is to pay out the wages for June, with the deadline set for September.

GdS also report an American technology company will replace Pirelli as shirt sponsor. The announcement will come mid-July.

Gazzetta dello Shit claims our next sponsor will be an American technology firm which will be unveiled before the friendlies in Florida.

Do you guys think that's true? Who could this firm be and most importantly how much money will they give us?
I don't know, but whoever was in charge of organising this should be fucking fired. Absolutely disgraceful we still don't know this yet.

They've known for a long time that the pirelli deal was coming to an end. We still don't have a replacement. We had to announce hakan in the worst t-shirt that could be found because he couldn't wear our Jersey. We can't release the new Jersey yet. Its beyond insane that this still hasn't been secured yet.

You replied to a post that says we have a replacement that will be unveiled publicly when the team is going to be where the sponsor is headquartered.

Yes but I'm saying the fact it's taken this long is ridiculous. I also won't be bothered too much by the report. Just a week ago they were reporting it was a Chinese company about to be unveiled. Next it was a crypto company.

Just from a design perspective I wouldn't mind it being Oracle. They have an inoffensive looking logo logo

So, who you are angry against eventually? To the media perhaps?

If it takes time to find the right main sponsor, it takes the time. It's not like Inter have lost some serious money in the process, because our main sponsorship deal with Pirelli ended YESTERDAY.

Anyway, interesting to see which company it might be. It's most probably not any big hitter because they'd pick a bigger club for that. And it's dubious if sports sponsorship in Europe is the move one should make anyway for them. Also, gotta add I know NOTHING about marketing/sponsorship things. :D

How long do these guys need? We've known this deal was ending for a very long time. And exactly, our current deal has ended. Currently we are sponsor less. Let's say this deal falls over now too, then what? We start the season without a new sponsor because we need to start selling our new jerseys. It's fucking mad. Should have been signed and sealed a long time ago.
And the club I'm annoyed with ofcourse.

well i dont know where the insinuation that Florida is where they are headquartered has come from - I dont see it directly in the tweet, unless Brehme has another source.

Anyway, re the sponsor. It's a little annoying its being left late, but as long as we do actually agree one before the season officially starts, it's no skin off my back.

Tech companies in Florida:

Imagine if its Citrix or Wix. Fucking lol.

Alienware would be cool tho

No that company HQ is not at Florida, but we start our pre-season matches in Orlando with the Florida Cup tournament and our new sponsor will be revealed as we start our pre-season.
