Interista far & wide, lend me ur ears. we didnt land on inter, inter landed on us lol

I am Argentine and Italian decent, my father was born and raised in italy. while my mother was born and raised in Argentina, Her family had been there for many generations and are of Spanish and Basque decent. My father moved to Argentina and married my mother but then moved to USA due to tough times and political unrest in Argentina. I am first generation American, im a big Inter fan and have been since childhood. Inter have always had a strong relationship with Argentina even going back to the Grande Inter days of the 60s when Helenio Herrera was coach, i felt it was the best club to represent me and i was not mistaken what with Inter having Zanetti the Argentine captain as our captain of recent times and signing players like Cambiasso,Samuel,Cruz,Crespo,Milito, not to mention many, many others.

I believe Inter should be diverse while maintaining a small italian core thus staying true to the clubs founding priniciples and reason for creation. Argentine influence will always be welcomed by me since it has always proven to be very effective and rewarding.

I watch as many inter games as i can, which is practically every game. I like Zanetti may miss a game or two a year or possibly only catch part of a game once or twice a year.

My dream is signing messi, though im sure many share the same dream, i being argentine have watched messi since he was very young. Also My Argentine Club team is Newell's Old Boys which has created players like Messi along with Samuel,Hienze,Batistuta.

Messi in the past has mentioned being an interista due to the large argentine core we had and have. i remember reading him once saying if he ever left barcelona it would be for inter when he was really young. he feels in debt to barcelona for paying for his medical treatment and supporting his family as a child, i think when he breaks all their records which he can do in a few years then he will leave for a new challenge in italy.

Moratti setting new transfer records:
Ronaldo in 97 (20 million), Vieri in 99 (30 million), Messi in 20?? (100 million)

That's what I'm talkin' about! Nice one! Keep posting ma man! Salute!

Love Argentinians with Italian background :D il Capitano

About Inter signing Messi, well... It would be nice but we're currently having a tough time spending figures like 20-30 mill for players like Hazard & Sanchez. So I think we're far from the point of spending heavy money on a single player. Moratti kissed that side of him good bye long time ago ;)

Welcome man...Quick question though: What is the socio-political relationship between Argentina & Italy? Why I ask is coz I seem to come across quite a few Italian-Argentines (or Argentine-Italian, which ever u prefer)

^ As far as I know 60% of Argentina's population are of Italian descent. I even heard they speak Spanish will slight Italian accent/pronunciation. Just a look at all the family names says it all:

Maradona, Zanetti, Messi, Di Maria, Coloccini, Passarella, Schweinsteiger etc.

This is why I like Argentina so much. Because it's the 2nd Italy. Now why is it that there is such a strong Italian root in Argentina, I really don't know. Gotta ask Nerazzurri himself.
